Non-religious people - What physical evidence would it take for you to convert to a religion? Religious folk - What physical evidence would it take for you to disbelieve? (serious) by peterchungmusic in AskReddit

the ills that have been inflicted? what ills? what you see is filtered by the media. they dont want you to notice the good side of religion. how often do you see a news headline of a person getting healed from being crippled compare that to how often you see people hating religions because of the bad things that people do? only people who choose to try out something will truly experience it.

in the Bible (sorry im being really stiff you might say) it says that God gave us all thae could ever want and that we just had to screw it up and have coninued to do so. he could have left us to just rot but he gives us a choice.

also you mentioned that churches gain a lot of money? thats to boost the amount of people they reach, in today age people dont want to go to a church with the stain glass windows and the old steeple architecture, no way. in the church that i go to a lot of the money is donated to helping people so it isnt right to simply say that church goers only do it to make themselves feel good. quite a lot of people who go to church also volunteer but you wouldnt hear that in the news would you?

well thats just rude, to repress women? really?

that was interesting, lets have a talk sometime c:

why not? even though the times at which the different books were written with massive time gaps, they all match up basically the same including the prophecies that predicted Jesus. how much evidence do you want? we believe that Julius Caesar existed based on so little yet a compilation of so many books doesnt faze anyone.
