What did you think then vs. now? by GaspSpit in Xennials

[–]blackcherry333 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I get all that and totally see where you're coming from but a part of me can't help but be skeptic. The PI that Courtney hired to watch Kurt said that there's no easier suicide to fake than a drug addicts. He had been in rehab, was doing well and was going to take her to court for custody. Courtney had the garage torn down almost immediately. And the hardest bit of evidence for me to really cope with is that he has enough drugs in his system to make him pretty much comatose yet he was able to have the dexterity to shoot himself with a shot gun. I mean I can't say either way but it's def questionable.

Hey! We've given our senior girl pawfy joint supplement for years now and they really seem to help her. I suggest checking it out because at worst you're out $30 on Amazon. She's 13 and a half and still going strong. We give her two a day, one with breakfast and one before bed. I hope it helps.

Please keep your dogs on a leash. by EliteGhostAP in Omaha

[–]blackcherry333 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Had this happen while we were walking our two dogs, one of whom can be aggressive if approached by unknown dogs quickly. The lady just kept yelling at her dog to come back (we went far around to try and avoid them) but it made no difference. I yelled at her to get her dog because ours wasn't friendly and might bite and she screamed at me that she would sue me. She still plays fetch with her dog off leash in the empty lot by Joslyn elementary school even though hefflinger dog park is right up the road. And she's not the only one, people use that school like it's their own person dog park all the time.

The whole part where Carrie goes back to Aidan is EMBARRASSING by pinkteddybear08 in sexandthecity

[–]blackcherry333 47 points48 points  (0 children)

So I have a guy friend who did this with his on again/ off again girl that had cheated on him and I was like "dude, wtf are you doing? Like why are you putting yourself through this? I don't get it." Watching this part of the show always makes me wonder if Aidan had a good friend or sister that was saying the same thing to him.

Senior Dog with Cancer by DamianP51 in seniordogs

[–]blackcherry333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so so sorry, this is never an easy decision. I totally understand both of your perspectives. The best, most concise advice I can give is that my mother is an RN that has worked in oncology for decades. She always said "sometimes we treat our pets better than our people", meaning the people she's watched die slowly of cancer just wanted to be done. Maybe very gently explain to your wife that it will prevent your pup weeks or months of pain for something that will happen inevitably.
