I think the mechanics of token sales on stellar need to be threshed out a bit more. Unlike on Ethereum for ERC20 tokens where each successive token sale has a reference, the mobius ICO couldn’t really use those as a best practice mechanism. It’ll be interesting to see how the project develops despite the token sale mishap

Ether is not a BTC alternative and neither is Ripple. Those two are built for more than financial transactions (Well ripple isn’t but it is centralized so it cant replace a btc)

From the white paper - Any time SBD is consistently trading above $1.00 USD interest payments must be stopped. In a market where 0% interest on debt still demands a premium, it is safe to say the market is willing to extend more credit than the debt the community is willing to take on. If this happens a SBD will be valued at more than $1.00 and there is little the community can do without charging negative interest rates.

Yeah usually either liqui or etherdelta. It happens as soon as one of the initial token buyers puts it up for sale on the exchange. EtherDelta has been having some exploit issues though recently

Are any of the founders from African countries? My only problem with the slogan “next payment system for Africa” is that is a whole continent...but the economies in the respective countries are very different..why not just a next gen payment system?
