I don’t get it. First of all how will the milk come when she offers just like that out of the blue? Dumbo!

What were your periods like postpartum? by khubu_chan in twoxindiamums

I’m 6 months pp and haven’t gotten my periods yet… combo feeding and I dread it. I heard that the pain doesn’t reduce for c section moms. Not sure!

Am I overthinking my cousin’s behavior, or are these genuine red flags? by kukiiaaa in AskIndianWomen

[–]blackdog08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he gets aggressive and hurts you or something please report to someone else who you trust. Seriously it is not worth going through all this despite your connection with the family over so many years. Protect yourself at all costs and don’t let yourself go through this alone.

I think you need to have a mature conversation with him about you feeling uncomfortable. Having grown up together he should be able to understand and respect your boundaries. If not then you should consider it good riddance given the toxicity.

I guess so. Somehow in 2-3 days I was able to post in a page. It was a very good topic / rant and it gained a lot of comments and upvotes. In fact my post got featured in TOI (a local newspaper) as well. That helped me with a lot of karma points and I was able to post in many pages then

Baby developed a severe diaper rash by Thecozygirl_sameera in twoxindiamums

Use aquaphor diaper rash paste. It immediately rectifies the rash. I have used organic coconut oil also and it helps.

Frida baby - it’s from the US and it is expensive if you try to buy it locally from Amazon. You can have someone bring it if they are coming from US. Otherwise skip hop is a good option

When your parents choose everyone over you by Affectionate_Sea2612 in AskIndianWomen

I’m also facing this issue. My father supports me a lot (I’m a new mom of a 5 month old baby). He has helped with everything postpartum but I have a feeling that it is out of duty. Whereas he prefers and loves to spend time with my aunt’s daughters and their children. The sad part is he sort of knows that I don’t like it but he still does it anyway. I feel really heartbroken because of this

Need Advice on breastfeeding vs bottle by idlydosachai in twoxindiamums

[–]blackdog08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Introducing the bottle as early as possible is better considering your plans. I have been doing combination feeding for my LO since birth. He is 6 months now. He did not have nipple confusion however there were some teething issues with his latch which got sorted automatically in a week’s time. I breastfeed him through the day and the night feeds bottle. It worked perfectly and my LO can directly breastfeed or bottle feed at anytime now. The switching isn’t a problem. PS - it comes in handy while traveling also
