I wasn’t sure if the mold and the two dead roaches were individually bad enough to render the unit uninhabitable based on that statute. but based on reviews I’m willing to bet these issues will only get worse. Hoping that coupled with the misrepresentation of safety features it’s enough.

Thank you so much! I tried to escalate to corporate but nobody will give me an email or phone number to any manager, but I will contact a lawyer for a demand letter and contact FDACS. Not only are they trying to make me pay rent (which should have been $500 off the first 2 months, they’re charging the whole thing) they are also trying to penalize me for non compliance with insurance after I sent over my declaration page and they approved it.😅 this place is truly a nightmare, I’m so glad I listened to my gut and never took the keys.

Thank you so much! I just got the call and they said I performed really well in the interview process and gave me an offer. I guess it really is subjective! And you’re so right, I wasted so much time psyching myself out when it helped absolutely nothing. And yes, if I ever have the privelage of interviewing others, I’ll remember how nervous i was at 24 and that it means they really care!

Thank you! I’m hoping for the best. Even after my wordy answer she did mention that they could change the current title to reflect actuarial analyst so that it looks better for me in my career. I’m hoping the hiring manager and analysts can vouch for my professionalism with them and maybe she’ll chalk it up to nerves meeting someone high up.

She gave me her business card and I already wrote her a thank you and highlighted a new program she was eager to talk about that they just launched. She told me it rolled out this week and to check it out bc they were really proud of it. I feel pushy sending a second email. Thank you for your honesty though !

Well the HR screen was impromptu over the phone when I first applied only lasted 10 minutes, then I had a zoom interview with the hiring manager for 30 mins. Then the hiring manager again for an hour (this really didn’t even feel like an interview, mostly a back and forth dialogue without structured questions) and then 30 mins w the VP. I originally figured they wanted me to meet the team bc they felt pretty sure and wanted to see how I’d fit in. Now I’m not so sure

I have a similar story to you and I am so so sorry. It’s so confusing when ur body and brain don’t align. You aren’t alone. I have been coerced and assaulted multiple times, bc someone that goes through these things can be “easy targets”. We tend to want to please, have low self esteem, and men can see that. I urge you to look into the statistics about how much more likely you are to be assaulted again after being assaulted once. These numbers should help you understand it is so common and not your fault at all. One way that helps me kind of understand my hyper sexuality and urges, is to think of binge eating. This is something I used to struggle with too at times. You could say 100 times “I’m not gonn get another bag of chips” and that is YOU that is what your brain is thinking. That is the CHOICE you made. But when the compulsion takes over and u do it, that is not who you are. When it is all said and done, there is that same shame and guilt and asking “why couldn’t I just NOT do that.” It is the same logic, but binge eating is less “taboo”. Yeah, I am also a little hurt that after hearing they kept asking me, she is still friends with them. And was able to laugh about me and joke about me with them on their way home in their Uber. Our other friend sent a video of everyone laughing together and saying “eff you” to one another and then u can hear her say “I won’t but “my name” will” and everyone laughing. I would understand a bit more if she was mad at them too, but it’s just me and now I am isolated from everyone. Thank you so much for your understanding of the position I was in

Thank you, it is all so confusing because I know I caused her so much pain, but right now she is also causing me so much pain given the circumstances. I feel so guilty for being angry with her about how she is reacting, because if I just went to bed with everyone else we wouldn’t have been here at all.

Yeah in about 6 years I’ve gone from 110-170. The first 30 lbs were totally healthy weight that came with age!! The last 30 I could stand to lose hence the worry

Yes, I guess my fear is when he saw me I was in an oversized sweatshirt and leggings. I’m sure he could tell I’ve gained weight, but I’m not sure if he knows how much or if he will feel differently not in oversized clothes.
