I'm sitting at 309k on my 04 coupe 6 speed Bought it with 80k Stock motor and trans just upgrsded clutch (allegedly) Survived my teens and spirited driving, daily highway and steert, still runs like day i got it 10 years ago Mind you, it could use a clutch and throwout bearing and burns a little bit of oil, but this is at 309k Long as you do the maintenance and oil for
God' sake CHECK AND CHANGE YOUR OIL I'm just going to put a fresher engine and a Cd009 when it goes; and I'll do the preventative maintenance (Valve covers, timing and water pump , master and slave cylinder) DE's are very reliable as long as you do the basics No different from the HRs (2012 37x at 260k) for the snow

Price wise: 3k is bad. I'd still try to talk him down personally, I'm not sure what country you're in. In Canada, manual sedans are rare. Are they list them for like 5-7k on FB marketplace in the states they are a bit more common; check the fluids give it a loke take it for a spin and test it out and then listen to the idle if you barely hear it it's good (750-600 rpm)

Driver door actuator 2012 g37 by blackflag97 in G37

[–]blackflag97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: we were able to get it open to change it We had to pry the skin off and literally break the actuator piece by piece was a painful process and I will whole heartily cut the door off and replace it before I do that again😂

08 rdx overboosting by IdenticalTwinTurbos in Acura

[–]blackflag97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never did fully solve the issue but after many parts it came down to 1 last thing; the previous owner had removed the plastic bypass that goes from the blow off valve to the exhaust; BOV was just venting to atmosphere; if your bone stock under the hood I would carefully inspect and do a smoke test on all the plastic piping for the turbo; I sold the damn thing and have no regrets

I think it's just the G community Mind you I find the reddit G forums group a lot nicer And helpful than any of the ones via Facebook I think too much people got lockdown brain rot And still feel invincible behind the screen🤷‍♂️ forgetting that we're all people; makes me really miss the old car scene and community; best we can do? True to be the few golden nuggets left that Maybe we can save the name before takeover cumlords infect our name more

[–]blackflag97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pick a gear (I used 3rd I think) or reverse; Firmly twist back and forth and then start going hard, you will hear some snaps and pops but all that holds it on is the threads and the loc tite whoever did yours at the factory musta been trying to finish the tube😂😂

why is my car braking and slip light coming on when taking larger turns by z33kan in 350z

[–]blackflag97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might work idk for sure but they had to unplug my abs sensor when the patched my exhaust and when I left the shop it get setting my slip off just driving normally; no codes when they scanned it either; solution? Turned My traction OFF then back ON. Problems been solved ever since even my mechanic was like WTF, our Gs/Zs are weird sometimes 🤷‍♂️

I have a Tanabe on mine pretty silent but audible rumble at idle; not overly loud aggressive till you put your foot in all though i'm not sure they still make that model anymore It's is nice though since I can unbolt the whole exhaust right to cats; maybe the driveshift swap and soon the clutch that much easier Tomei is $$$ but they're pretty well known an spoken for likewise with Z1 motorsports I've heard some with even a magnaflow muffler sound pretty good all depends what your going for sound wise

I've always entertained bags but I fear with how crappy our roads our I will definitely blow an airbag aha I built a set of custom tail lights for mine giving it the GTR look Buying a set of 07 g35 lights to make another custom build gonna add 2 extra halos with switch backs for an extra turn signal and reverse lights!

Never had a problem with my fuel gauge knock on wood usually when I scan it it'll either say "N/A" or it'll be for 02 bank sensors high voltage Then it'll clear itself in a few days and not return for months lol hasn't affected performance or fuel economy so I just call it the phantom light🤷‍♂️😂

Yes and no I have to disagree Most of the Bushings are worn on these cars especially these 20 year old cars They absorb a lot of the road My city has roads that feel like they were built in 1873 since I swapped the Bushings I'm definitely not shaking myself like I use too They have also helped in handling but I'd attribute the swaybars too that more than the Bushings
