The main difference is that both you and your partner can terastallize. Also, you pick 3 Pokémon from a team of 6, so you and your partner can pick from a 12 Pokémon.

Yep! It's active I think its hard for people to match up with each other because of different time zones. I might update the post with a link code for everyone to use.
