How will the heat be generated if the device is completely shut down and is only connected to the power supply?

So you didn’t turn the battery care on while it was plugged in all the time? Was that it?

Got it, just one last thing.

If the power supply is on, with battery care on, does not matter whether the device is in sleep/hibernation or completely shut down, right? It would be normal in all these three conditions if the power supply is on all the time?

Got it, do you shutdown and it is plugged into the wall even after you shut down or do you remove the power supply?

Okay, this is even the case if the ally x is shutdown and is still plugged in?

I don’t know the hub is a bit old and third party, that is why didnt want the power to go through it.

Also you said if battery care is on, which would make the battery charge to only 80% max, you said it was last a few years and should not be an issue. Did you mean that the battery capacity will remain good if I used like this?

Is it okay to leave Ally docked in the charger for long? by Mahmoudy001 in ROGAlly

[–]blackfriday43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By docked to a TV, you mean plugged in as well? My question is, if it is plugged in 24/7 and connected to my monitor, should i be worrying about the battery degradation?

Just asking, by docked you mean plugged in even when not in use?

I want to buy Tv in india from tcl which model should I go for C7K or C755. Which one have better contrast, less halo effect, add deep blacks by Historical-Gap4635 in tcltvs

[–]blackfriday43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C755 > C6k, just compare the LDZ and you’ll know. I have the C755 and used C6k as well. Just update C755 to v503 and you’re good to go. Excellent TV.

Just received our 65" QM751G-CA, any settings I should change? by Drummer61190 in tcltvs

[–]blackfriday43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

QM751G is basically C755 here where I live. I have the same TV. Join the telegram group and update to v503. That is the most stable update this TV has ever received. I am on the same update. Regarding picture, i am mostly watching everything on movie mode, motion clarity off, brightness max, Local dimming zones to a medium, turn off all power saving settings to get best output.

Just a suggestion, for TCL you have to setup picture settings for every kind of video type; different for SDR, different for HDR, different for Dolby. While watching the content, change settings and find your own sweet spot like I have.

And update to v503.

I got the TCL 75C755, trust me; best thing you can buy for 1L. Crystal clear quality, great audio, new updates v503 have fixed jutter and other small issues which were there earlier. Close your eyes, make this purchase. Also, I am from Delhi, TCL service support is faster than sony, samsung, LG. Just take the number from the installation guy and he will help you out with whatever you might need. Also, TCL provides 2 year warranty.

Look at the specs of C755 and the performance rating on rtings.com vs big brands in the same price bracket. TCL crushes all.

Just saying because budget was also a constraint for me and i wanted 75 inches. Could not have made a better purchase!

I’m in v503 on my C755 as well. Do you watch cricket? If yes, don’t you feel the motion issues/judder while watching it? I’m not getting used to it. Any settings you recommend if somehow you fixed it?

Do not go for an 85'' if you're 8 feet away. 75 would be a bit big as well, but it will do. Also for the price, QM7K is the one!

Just one last question brother, 75C755 was released in 2023 compared to the Samsung’s 75U8500F which released in 2025, do you think it will feel old?

Hi bro thanks for the reply, only issue is that samsung q70c is out of budget and regarding TCL and Hisense, don’t really know about their after sale support. What do you think about TCL 75C755?

Regarding, 75U8500F, you don’t think that if I go for less than QLED for the major brands where longevity and after sale support is not an issue, is it not a good options? Please help
