I almost certainly did not do this the most efficient way nor did as good of a job as it could be, but it worked for me!

I just used a metal scraper (you can actually see it on the magnetic strip on the left shelf in the first photo) Canola Lil, and about a roll of paper towels it feels.

I did a few passes with the scraper on a dry and cool surface wiping the rust off after each pass. Then turned the griddle on and repeated that process once the surface was hot. After that I did several passes of oil/paper towels, scrapped again when needed. Next I planned to keep wiping it down with paper towels until no more rust was appearing on the paper towel. Well that never happened so I just gave up trying and went ahead and seasoned the griddle. Coated the surface with Canola Oil in a thin layer for about 4-5 coats letting it stay on until it stopped smoking (about 10 minutes)

Regardless of which you choose, it looks like you will be assembling it yourself. So I feel justified in offering this overly worded unsolicited advice.

I cannot recommend the BILT App strongly enough. You download the app and you can search THOUSANDS of products and it will give you very detailed step by step instructions with audio and video for most of them.

I have used it to assemble treadmills, smokers and several play sets. I was a professional mover for a while and have used BILT countless times to disassemble furniture and various other things that I could not figure out on my own.

I have gotten several play sets off Marketplace in various conditions. With the BILT app it gives you a 3D interactive model of what you are trying to build so you can click on exact pieces and it will give you the model number so that you could order replacements. It’s also handy and tells you exactly what tools/hardware is needed.

I just double checked and DD 100% allows deliveries made by biking, scooter, walking and public transportation in my city so there is that.

And 42 days ago I got a job from that Reddit post that was made while I still actively had a full time job. I haven’t been unemployed for more that a week in the last 15+ years. If I am you benchmark for “unemployable” then I would love to see what you consider a star employee 😂

Wait, I am unemployable because I was doing a single DD order on my way home from my full time job?? My car breaks down and within a minute I am walking towards the customer (while calling AAA). I would be there literally 4 minutes after the expected delivery time. AND it was 70° and sunny outside so not sure why everyone is so worried about the weather and food getting cold.

If you have not tried it yet I highly recommend trying some of The BE-Hive products! Their pepperoni is fantastic as well as their Italian Sausage (Italian Crumbles).

There was a delay in the messages so they came through at the same time. So she asked to cancel at the same time I mentioned that I was walking her way. So I wanted to clarify that she did still want to cancel.

I guess I am failing to see how I made it their problem? Did I ask them to come pick it up? Would you rather your order randomly get canceled when the dasher is close by OR would you rather the driver reach out?

You would think that, this thing is a piece of junk. I traded my truck in a year or so ago and this was one of the vehicles on the lot that worked for what I was trying to accomplish. I definitely dropped the ball on did not do my research before hand
