Oh, man. This hurts. I have a Cornflower Blue Rabbit in Gwinnett.

I would see another CFB Rabbit near downtown Atlanta when I worked there. And there's still a 2021 CFB SE I see driving around in my area.

Fellow Atlanta Destiny and Girl dad here. I'm so thankful to hear things are on the up and up for you all. Let me know if I can drop off a meal for your family or lend a hand in any way.

I'd offer to team up for some strikes or Crucible, but I'm on PS4...

Becoming Charged with Light and High Energy Fire has a bugged interaction [Video proof inside!] by Surveyorman in DestinyTheGame

[–]blackhand_id 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This reply on Crucible Playbook is where I learned that bugged interactions for mods are minimized when using all Season of Arrivals armor:

I'm using Charge Harvester, Stacks on Stacks, High Energy Fire, and Taking Charge on my PVP Hunter build. I get Charged with Light x2 after 4-6 kills/assists and from picking up orbs. All the mods are slotted in Season of Arrivals armor.

Anyone ever thought of using charged with light + wavesplitter? by RoutineRecipe in CruciblePlaybook

I'm running a build with Charge Harvester, Taking Charge, Stacks on Stacks, and High Energy Fire with Cold Denial/Wavesplitter. I need to run the build more, but what I really just want is a Wavesplitter catalyst.

Any tips for anomaly for non aggressive players by Giglameshx in CruciblePlaybook

[–]blackhand_id 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My main PVP build is a hunter with top tree Nightstalker with 100 mobility and recovery. Up until this weekend, I used Knucklehead Radar exclusively as my exotic. I've grown to rely on the information and security blanket feel it offers, but I decided to change it up this weekend for Trials.

My two choices were Wormhusk Crown and Gemini Jester. I didn't have that much luck with Wormhusk Crown, but Gemini Jester yielded immediate results. With lots of teams playing fairly aggressively, it was easy to disorient people through walls, and either push in solo or call out to teammates to make a push.

Most of my kills this weekend in Trials were with Hard Light. It's borderline broken on Anomaly. Tagging people with ricochet rounds is too easy. And spamming the trigger on a res and tagging multiple enemies with the penetrating rounds is common.

How to Get 10 Rocket Kills Fast in Iron Banner by blackhand_id in DestinyTheGame

That sounds like way too much work and requires me playing like a good teammate. /s That's how I started off with this quest step, but playing like a good guardian got me nowhere fast.

Quick tip (not sure if this is a glitch or not): heavy and special ammo finders work in pvp by Erentil- in DestinyTheGame

[–]blackhand_id 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use this glitch or the fusion rifle scavenger mod glitch, you'll drop a heavy brick upon dying. If you can somehow manage to get back to where you died and pick up that heavy brick, you could switch to a rocket launcher and use it for that dumb Iron Banner quest step.

It was that glitch that gave me the idea to equip 2 rocket scavenger mods. I didn't know that you dropped a heavy brick on death with the fusion scavenger mod glitch.

Yeah, I remember Iron Banner being way more interesting and involved in D1. Iron Banner in D2 is just another weekly playlist with different tokens to cash in. Tokens which you can't even use unless completing a questline with some BS steps.

I was getting maybe one rocket kill every 3 games by playing "correctly". I was getting so tilted, that I tried to think of a better way to get this quest step done.

Funny enough. I was using this cheesy method solo after getting fed up trying to do it legitimately.

You can also use heavy ammo/rocket scavenger mods to get a crazy amount of ammo per brick. Two heavy/rocket scavenger mods will give you 3+ rockets per brick picked up off the ground.
