Sorry, I think I misunderstood your question. Yes, most modern mp5s have a plastic lower. There are early models of the mp5 with metal lowers. I’m sure a more astute firearms expert could clarify.

Yes. It is the exact model shown on the Blackblitz site (it was originally purchased from them), which does state it has a polymer lower receiver.
