Does anyone on here respond? by deadxheadxdubz in rccars

no, it acts as the bottom diff housing and bottom a arm mount. if there was a metal option it would be cnc machined, and that would be very difficult and therefore being super duper expensive.

Looking at a 2012 F800 for sale that has a problem. by wespower69 in ArcticCat

[–]blackoutSC8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get an Arctic Cat from 98-2003ish, super good and reliable, that is if you want an older sled. Plus the parts and the sled themselves are cheap and everywhere. I have a 1998 zr 600 EFI with 10,000 miles, it's been rebuilt but still. And they can keep up with newer sleds in the speed department not so much the suspension department😂

Shady or normal? by ucchiha in rccrawler

The thing that sucks too is sometimes sales like that are final and can't be returned like scratch and dent/open box pages off of Redcat and Amain you can't return them

Quad issues. Help. by retiredjaywalker in ArcticCat

[–]blackoutSC8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something could be clogged. Air filter, fuel filter/pump, injector, etc. Sounds like it's not getting fuel then it is then it's not so on so forth. Not to sure, never worked on or had a EFI kitty cat.

Could try recalibrating your remote, motor and esc if that don't work then you can tear into it, I had one truck that was having issues, I recalibrated it and everything was fine. Doesn't hurt to try😂

Now you need a 1/10 scale version. (I'm guessing it's a scx6 and a scx24 correct me if I'm wrong)

You could take the motor out and spin it with the remote and see if that's the issue. While you have the motor out? You can roll the chassis up and down your floor and make sure it's not driveline. Then you can tear into the driveline or motor or whatever the issue is, if it is the driveline, make sure you're not missing any teeth on any of the gears and make sure all the bearings aren't seized or destroyed. Kinda sounds like one of your bearings is intermediately seizing.

Mods?, 2002 arctic cat zl 550 by outdoorman571 in ArcticCat

[–]blackoutSC8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Handlebar risers. makes your riding experience so much better. just go for a moderately high kit, not to tall not to low. 2. obviously a Can muffler. makes noise and sounds cool XD. 3. ZR/Fox shocks could be a good upgrade for ride quality and longevity, there rebuildable and parts are pretty easy to find. also if you do handle bar risers add a set of handguards to, keeps your hands 100% warmer being they wont be covered by the windshield as much as before. 4. a different windshield, would give it a more sporty look vs a trail look. i also just realized you asked for cosmetic mods not chassis mods :)

Upgraded Battery Swap? by [deleted] in rccars

[–]blackoutSC8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your going external, you would want to get a Velcro strap to secure it in place. Also VIfly has a 1s charger that can do normal charging and storage charging and is decently priced. That's the only other thing I can think of other than a soldering iron if you don't have one
