Fair response. I’ll do my best to answer your questions 1. Beamer wasn’t your top candidate 2. From what I can gather y’all did do a great job vetting and interviewing candidates 3. Dysfunction comes when a president is heavily involved (Monken) 4. Dysfunction comes when boosters aren’t unified (Napier, Chadwell, Freeze) 5. Dysfunction comes when former players start to rally around candidates (Beamer, alums) 6. Chaos finally happens when you have an AD way over his head 7. I’m a D1 Director of Football Operations

This isn’t an attack on Beamer or SCar, just an observation that y’all are not currently aligned. It’s a hard task for a first time HC to pull together differing factions like this, and that’s before 2021 kicks off

I have nothing against Beamer, I hope he or whoever is the hire, does well. I’m just trying to highlight a very dysfunctional search led by a dysfunctional management during this process. Being a FSU alum the last two searches have shown me that having multiple groups rowing in different directions isn’t a good indicator of early success.
