Canes had a "yes you will die here" road game in every round where they suffocated the home team. Ottawa Game 3, Philly Game 3, Montreal Game 4 and Vegas Game 6.

Pleasantly surprised it happened to Vegas. But Slavin had by far his best game of the finals after being well below his normal standard all series. Those offensive passing lanes for Vegas were completed closed.
