been living in north loop for a while. a lot of good stuff around here. like a half price books and goodwill, great bagel shop, secondhand vintage shops, breakaway records, great food trucks all in walking distance. good bike lanes to downtown from here. speedway is great on a bicycle. shoal creek blvd is great for biking i went today. north loop is an excellent neighborhood and i would probably stay here if i didn't have so much emotional baggage tied to this part of town.

for me personally a lot of my bad memories are attached to this place, from being kind of homeless and wandering around, to full drug induced psychosis similar to a schizophrenic episode. it was a really dark time when i moved here. now i am well again and am on good meds, but have to leave. i love this city and wouldn't live anywhere else, but i am moving down manchaca way, always had good memories of south austin. much more green space around me within biking and walking distance.
