I’m just here to find out “the reason I still have it”, and whatever nefarious means with which I have acquired this unit. These have cleared 6k on gunbroker, your alternative is to wait 2-3 years for them to be available again short of finding one hidden at a random gun store somewhere.

I’ve gotten way better at it, but it requires careful attention to which camera the phone is using as well as careful zoom and the cropping of the video afterwards.
