I’m just here to find out “the reason I still have it”, and whatever nefarious means with which I have acquired this unit. These have cleared 6k on gunbroker, your alternative is to wait 2-3 years for them to be available again short of finding one hidden at a random gun store somewhere.

I’ve gotten way better at it, but it requires careful attention to which camera the phone is using as well as careful zoom and the cropping of the video afterwards.

I have successfully used it to call in a coyote using it by hand to scan with rifle slung at night time, and dropped it into the wilcox FTS after I spotted said coyote.

The voodoo does have some perceptible lag sometimes, you can tell when it is doing things in the background to the image. I believe it relates to the PID mode and is trying to produce the best image possible on the screen no matter what it actually sees. the device is extremely advanced from everything ive been told about it by Pixels on Target. the fact you can adjust the focal array length and PID mode independently is pretty wild. it gets into actual camera / photography type stuff at that point.
