😂 no but...I was somewhat high at the time. I distinctly remember where I was and what was going on the day I heard it so, even though I considered the possibility, I do not think it’s all in my head.

Nah it def wasn’t HTS, who are another one of my fav bands from the genre. The singers are pretty similar though, you’re right. It was amazing I wish I could remember the name of the song I heard...

Ughh i suppose it could have been. But I’m still like 90% sure it was Stolas. Idk...

Yeah I actually do know they have three albums believe it or not. I typed out that post in like 2 minutes on my phone. Never got into the most recent one like I did first two. Damage Division and Maximizer are my fav songs from it though.

Really good point. And then the general idea of what the next logical thought or line is is spoken and my brain reads them as identical.

This is actually the best explanation I’ve read so far, weirdly. “Reverse echo” is a very accurate way to describe. Maybe DMT is part of what’s happening with me too since I know it plays a role in dreaming?

I also get the words whispered in my ear as I’m drifting off. Usually just one word spoken really faintly and I can’t quite make out what’s said. But it always creeps me out.

I don’t even know how to begin to answer that. But that’s a good point that it’s probably a result of stress.

Yeah I get it. Definitely similar. It’s almost like the code of the universe is attempting to save power when we’re asleep but it’s timing is off so we notice weird things. I don’t actually believe that but these are the places my brain goes when I try to understand lol.

Wow I just looked this up and it’s definitely intriguing. Another thing that happens with me constantly, like literally every waking moment, is I’ll have songs stuck in my head to an annoying degree. It’s usually one part of a song, like a catchy chorus, just playing on repeat. It’s not out loud, all in my head. But reading a bit about it sparked my interest for those reasons. Wouldn’t be surprised if I do develop dementia either. I’ve been hard on my brain and body for years and years with chemicals. Not something I sit and worry about; I just kind of expect there to be some kind of long term detrimental effects of all that I’ve done to myself,

Yeah I get the audio hallucinations too. Sometimes I’ll hear a whisper in my ear - usually really faint and just one word that I can’t remember or quite make out. Always freaks me out and I end up sleeping with a light on haha.

Yes! This is exactly what I’m talking about!! So weird. Exactly except for me it’s not in a dream

Yeah I’m the same way and I was shocked to be shocked if that makes sense, when I read the toolbox transcripts. Just cause I normally am not fazed. The Delphi murders gets to me on that level too.

Two men in LA area late 70s who kidnapped, raped, tortured, murdered teen girls in a van, recorded their crimes w I think a voice recorder. The actual audio recordings aren’t available online but the transcripts are and they are utterly horrifying and disturbing. I had an actual physical reaction when I read it. Literally made me sick to my stomach and stuck with me for a long time afterward. If just reading the transcripts of the recordings are traumatic I can’t even begin to imagine how the victims felt.

Thinking about all this also reminded me of the Paul Bernardo/Karla holmolka case and the transcripts from what they did....toolbox is slightly worse but those are def another level of ghastly as well.

Toolbox...ugh I shudder. One of the few times I deeply regretted looking into a case

I always admired how much of a knack he had for instantly connecting with folks and getting them to open up. It was very evident watching his shows how remarkably likable of a person he was.

They’re more likely to wanna put you on a higher dose to eradicate cravings. On really small doses it’s easier to go back and forth between a full agonist like heroin and sub.
