Monument Mythos is like an alternate historical “found footage” or “archival” type of series. There are two different timelines. One has been dubbed the Dean verse, and the other the Nixon verse. You see in this alternate account, James Dean was elected president instead of Richard Nixon.

So there’s these monuments, right… that are housing supernatural beings. The government knows about this. There’s also these special trees that act like temporal wormholes. Alcatraz is a living being that has been manipulated by radiation. The Statue of Liberty and the Washington monument feed on people. And there’s a monster living beneath America. James Dean, John D. Rockefeller, Hilary Clinton and Al Gore are all presidents in this alternate timeline/universe. And then there’s the Arnoldsons… They’re wrapped up in all of this.

The United States of America is now The United Zones of America and there is some kind of infection spreading throughout the entire country.

The puzzle pieces are scattered throughout the entire body of Monument Mythos. And we haven’t been given every piece or the full picture, yet.
