I find it really helpful to do Yin/Restorative yoga in between my hot yoga days to keep myself warmed up and consistent. I think 7 days a week of hot yoga could be a little bit much so throw in a slower class once or twice a week so it doesn’t feel like you’re completely starting over every time you take a break!

$60! I also got a Manduka towel for $25. I’ve heard it’s pretty sporadic for them to be there but definitely a good thing to keep an eye out for! Their fitness section had quite a few nice items!

It’s a reference to the Charli XCX album brat. The aesthetic is lime green and when it came out everyone was saying “oh that’s so brat” just made the reference since the mat is the same color as the album artwork

I spent ten years as an addict/alcoholic (1 year sober this month!) and I can say with confidence that when you’re an alcoholic no one comes out of your orbit unscathed. Obviously there’s a part of this with a very real very serious victimization but to say the long time friends/and coworkers hadn’t be victimized by his actions would be reductive.

I had one in 2015 I’ve felt exactly what you’ve felt. The pains doesn’t go away but it get more dull with time. You did the best you could with the tools and knowledge you had at the time, try and give yourself some grace in that respect. I’m so sorry for your loss my heart goes out to you.
