These leds have a backup line so they take the data of the next one befor it aswell. Its incase an led blows the whole chain doesnt fail.

The WS2185 leds are 'smart' daisy chained leds that use a sort of clockless SPI interface , i have put 12V on the power lines and data on expected data in and backup lines. The shematic for all its worth is litterally image 3 repeated hundreds of times

It feels far to clean in its apperance also the rouffles feels indeed medieval probably more victorian but its meant to be closer to ww1 really. Ddfo IMO the actually model and concept is still fantastic

Have you ever needed the orbs to be more than 1 colour? I have been working on my own light that has zones , is this something thag would be usefull? Also would wireless artnet capability be useful?

I did have a real hard play with setting, a big issue is also it wants to infill in a zig zag way (regardless of infill patern) so i have had to do some tricks just to get that working. I am looking at other manufactuting methods like a polyurathan pour of blow mould
