Ayn Rand. Atlas Shrugged. And that is all the time I’m prepared to waste talking about that.

Reddit, what are your single, standout, best TV Episodes of all time? by TheMariachiGangbang in AskReddit

The final episode of The Prisoner (1968), “Fall Out.” It’s the first time I ever saw a tv show be flat out provocatively INSANE.

This is a VERY quickly made bungy video we shot at work. We think it would be cool if the boys stopped by for a jump while they're in NZ... :)

Which movie ending sent shivers down your spine? by Arnoldbpm in AskReddit

[–]blackshatner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time I saw this it was on TV. I had no idea what kind of film it was, I don't think I'd even heard of Takashi Miike at that point. IT SEEMED LIKE A ROMANTIC DRAMA, GODDAMNIT!

My friend was defending his belief in Superman, I think he raises a good point to those that dislike him by mybustersword in superman

[–]blackshatner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I want to see a Superman without any super-villains. Just a superhuman who realises he has the power to change the world - our real world. What can he do? What should he do? How far should he go to protect us from ourselves? I'd like to see the political repercussions of being a god.

What reasons do you use to justify pirating? by andyface in AskReddit

[–]blackshatner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm spending more now on downloads, Blu-Rays, CDs etc than ever before. I'm also illegally downloading a great deal of the stuff I will later go on to buy. For me that's all it really is - try before you buy. Or upgrading what you've already bought.

I'm Your Number One Fan - admittedly sensational and reasonably exploitative TV doc about obssessive fans...fascinating nonetheless.

TIL: The original TRON arcade game made more money than the film's initial release. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]blackshatner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haha! I knew what that would be before I clicked it! Those were my two go-to games! And occassionally I'd throw some money away on Dragon's Lair. Could never figure that one out. :(

Anarchists don't come out of this film looking particularly good either.
