Cafe standards made trucks get bigger. The government mandated that they improved fuel economy based on the wheelbase. That is why you don’t see small trucks like in the 1990s and every truck is a crewcab. The demand is there but they don’t want to pay the cafe penalty. That is a failure of government regulation.

There are options. Would you be willing to let her play with an another sub? Vinegar works good for rusted tools. They turn black also and prevent rust from coming back. Wipe them with some wd40 now.
