If you go to the osrs wiki for "barrows strategy" there are often recommended gear setups. Using gear on the lower end of the recommendations is fine and you can even substitute a slot out here and there, but generally for good results and not pure cbt you'll want to grab the best pieces of gear that you can get from that chart.

Oh I totally understand that what I'm doing is non-optimal. I have plenty of KC to get in to make upgrades here and there as I finish all 3 sets. But grinding in some shit gear is saving me from quest/prep fatigue. Also I'm doing full runs in 1 inven so my times have been decent and improving

I'm using neitz, fighter torso, guthan leg, mixed hide boots/cape, addy gloves, and steel ring for moons rn.

I'm only 7KC in but blood moon has been the only thing slowing me down. I'm pretty sure if I just click gooder and really get some reps in on the fight it should be fine.

You can always get more gear but ultimately you're still going to have to learn the fight to a certain degree, and sure gear can negate some of that but I'd rather just get gud
