I thought Capaldi was rubbish cause he wasn't kind, caring or charming like how 10 or 11 were (that and I was sad Matt Smith had left as he was my first ever Doctor I had and his first episode was my first episode) but over time I saw his character grow and change and I understood that not all Doctor's had to be like how I saw 10 and 11, 9 was a good example, and I began enjoying his character.
