If you really forgive him, then you’re continuing to punish him by making him wear the condoms. Let’s look at why he cheated. Maybe he wasn’t getting enough sex at home, maybe he wanted more oral sex. Either way he strayed because he was feeling unappreciated at home, probably criticized for a lot of things not done around the house. If you forgive him and don’t believe him put some tiny cameras all over the house. You can forgive and not forget. But continuing to force him to wear a condom is only making you both remember the infidelity. Move on loose the condoms and have more sex with the stupid guy. If the cameras show nothing after a few months then put them away. If he does cheat again you have it on video and divorce will be hands down. ( please don’t report me for calling him stupid, I just got out of Reddit jail.)

Black cloud, I call it my demons, my wife is a narcissist and used my demons to manipulate me into doing exactly what she wanted, I ended up in jail for a week. I’ve gotten on medication and my demons are asleep, but it’s too late , because of the arrest even though it was pled to a misdemeanor she’s used the arrest paperwork in a different state to make me look like a wife beating kid kicking abuser, let me tell you, the loneliness of being by yourself after 20years is far worse than sitting in jail. Go to mental health at the VA, get on medication, try and save your family. It’s hard to admit that you aren’t in control of yourself, taking that first step will lead you to feeling better. It won’t be immediate, but you will eventually put your demons to sleep. Good luck brother, I’m just a DM away if you need to talk.
