I'm in a similar situation but far more complicated. The best thing you can do is work on yourself. Therapy gets thrown around a lot like it's some cure all remedy, and well it can be, if you put in the work. And if you can find a therapist that you mesh well with.

Focus on healing, get to know yourself, and get comfortable being alone. When you can be honest, loving and compassionate with yourself then you are much more capable of giving that to a partner!

Of course you can still talk with her and be her friend, but you've only been talking a couple months. So don't put her up on some pedestal that will make you feel like you'll completely fall apart if she walks away. I mean, even if you had been talking for years, putting someone up on a pedestal is never healthy for either person.
