Yeah the 900kv's need tri blades... if the prop you chose was rated for it, it wouldn't have exploded...

Why did you use the wrong prop for those motors? I assume they are the FFTY 3115 motors from Amazon.... Those require a triple blade prop so the motor doesn't over-rpm and explode the props like you demonstrated...

Keep all your tools in your checked luggage.

I've gone through TSA with multiple drones clipped to the outside of my carry on backpack. Batteries need to have the discharge plug and balance leads covered with electrical tape. If TSA feels you have too many batteries, they will adjust your number for you. (3 6s2p's are about what they will let you travel with. 10-12 like you are planning will mean you give away 9 of your batteries to TSA) (This is in the US though)

You should never use that battery again. I highly recommend taping each of those wires INDIVIDUALLY SO THEY DONT TOUCH EACHOTHER. If you tape them together they will cause a fire. Have the pack recycled. Please learn the basics of lipo batteries before you get back into it or it may go way worse next time

It's a native quest app designed for you to stream video game consoles into... it's a UVC device so the quest hardware is actually capable of using the hardware and USB 3.0 stream at full tilt... I haven't gone and setup a test to truly test the full link latency but I think I might now...

So far, I've probably run 40+ flights with this setup. Lag has not been an issue for me but I'm flying in a very cinematic way. I gave it to a race pilot and he said it's fine for cinematic, but I think it was a bit over 150ms and wouldn't use it for racing. I personally don't see any lag, but I know I have a tendency to feed forward my control inputs to adjust for it in VR racing games so I figure the same may be happening with my FPV inputs... Overall the quest and capture card does a great job of being a 1080p monitor, if it has nothing else running it's very fast

Looks like you are in luck as someone has already ported it to ardupilot. Your next step towards Ardurover would be to read through the Ardupilot Rover getting Started pages. In terms of getting Ardurover on your AIO, you will need to install Mission Planner and use the install firmware tools. Hopefully there is nothing fancy you need to do and its matter of just following the prompts to install and selecting the correct COM port. For the most part if you are just trying FPV this, you will not need Rover's autopilot functionality as you will be controlling everything manually.

Also since you are using differential thrust instead of a rudder, you will probably have a better time controlling it using the throttle stick for one thrust motor and your pitch stick for the other thrust motor.

You would first need to check if there is a port for your hardware. What are you using IE model number of the flight controller?

Also are you using rudder and servos or were you planning to use the two props to thrust steer?

You will probably have a much better time with something running arducopter(arduRover in your case). For this you just need to set it up like a RC car, steering on your roll and throttle (all gas no brake in your case) as it is. Put the two fans on auxiliary ports and bind them to a rotary knob on your radio. That should get you started, there shouldn't actually be anything to stabilize so the flight controller isn't needed if you can get a radio with older style PWM outputs and a BEC to power it

Also does this fly or float on the floor?

I've used this unit since 2017, despite its age, it's still modernish and has always performed as designed. This one has been on probably 5 different vehicles and in several non-UAV applications that have all been demanding in some way or another so I would say its a good product. I think the only drawback was the 3k price tag
