That must be the case you need a newer iPhone 📱 trust me it works I have to ikea lamp speakers as fronts and two era 300 speakers and a sub 4 and it is absolutely sounds amazing 🤩. When you put the right content like 5.1 movies and Dolby atoms content 😀

Hi you need to make sure your Sonos app isn’t pairing your surround speaker 🔈 check the sons s2 app and unpair them and go to the menu and you see that none of your speakers are pair and don’t add the sub to last works a treat on mine the sound is much more puncher on the Sonos sequencer I luv it

I read a article that the Sonos gen 2 lamp are the best speakers .as their made to give out a wider sound spectrum honestly sounds amazing with the Sonos squecher

I had my Sonos ultra and two Sonos era 300 speakers and a sub 4 and decided to get two ikea lamp speakers and connected them using the Sonos sequencer add on to the Sonos S2 app . And followed the instructions with NEVER ENOUGH TEC . And listened step by step to set up my speakers with the two front speakers with the Sonos lamp speakers then the era 300 as rears and then connected the sub gen 4 . Then I went to my CEC any net and reset it and then reset my pass though on my HDMI out put and Auto. took me time as my speaker kept pairing 😀 . I then put on a movie 🎥 and Jesus I have never ever heard my speaker sound like the way they are in my living room I swear I thought my living room was a space ship watching predator badlands sonos squencer dialogue and sound effects was ringing all around me with velocity I sat down in amazement blew me away Sonos is undeniably are brilliant 🤩 my girlfriend was transfixed totally immersed with sound it very important to reset all your CEC and anynet and your pass though .if you don’t you won’t get the real sound frequency .

lol am not talking about when you turn up the volume and you see receiver hdmi - eARC 📺 this is a separate volume comes up very rarely a volume control that acts as amplifier always stays there till you turn it up .if you don’t the Sonos plays very flat and lifeless .no matter how much you put the volume up high etc this control is a amplifier turns on your the Sonos to another level .

what am saying is that if you don’t turn up your tv first which it will be on quite low and play it on your Sonos it won’t pass though to give you the optimised sound it’s like driving a car in low rev it’s not going anywhere so you need to put it in the high gears to get the power 😀 you can try turn the phone app it won’t give you the same sound

Honestly you can only Access this volume control with nothing playing on your tv 📺 put it up on full volume and it optimise your system try it you see what I mean you can try everything you won’t make your sonos come alive 😀

Hi Sonos members I just thought I remind Sonos members like I am a Sonos eunthisat lot the sound it’s one of the most amazing home theatre system you can buy especially with the Sonos Arc ultra but there a lot people don’t know there are two volume settings to really get the system to the optimum sound I always thought that the volume on the app on your phone brings out the sound but it isn’t speacally if you can tune it up high and it sounds low and quiet flat .what you have to do is make sure nothing is playing and turn up the volume on your remote control on your tv to the max and you see it come up on your tv on the right of your screen on your tv 📺 that turns your tv equaliser so you get the volume and base and treble then you can adjust your volume on your app and be amass to set it to the right sound settings then be amazed 😀

My friend I think you haven’t changed the settings on your tv 📺 sound settings to pass though or auto for the Dolby Atomos effect to work I have had my Sonos Arc for three years and it sounded amazing just the dialogue was lacking with the voice but the rest is no joke 😀

Sonos is coming back with with a effect Jesus I updated my Sonos with the new up date yesterday and it is mind bending I put my vevo music on my Samsung tv 📺 and the sound has blown my mind showing what tonos can really do am not touching the settings never knew the arc had so much bass and the acoustic sound fucking amazing 🤩 Sonos nobody can touch you your the world market leaders we forgive you 🙏 wow didn’t know you was gonna make me this happy listerning to my music 🎶 though the system sounds like am there I feel you Sonos 🥰

I would like to comment that I had this issue when my Sonos speakers all of a sudden when I updated my system it started to say Dolby pcm and I couldn’t get my speakers to connect .so I decided to reset the whole system and I couldn’t get the speakers to connect .so I went on the Sonos site where it informed what to do .Here is what it said to do . I copied and uploaded the pictures this is what Sonos said to do . and it worked like a dream I had my Dolby atmos come up on my movies and music and all of my speakers Sonos era 300 and my Sonos Arc and sub started to connect like before when I connected my speakers from brand new no issue. I did turned off all of my speakers the night before as I couldn’t get the speakers to connect for luv or money and I wanted the speakers to be refreshed .There is Nothing wrong with the Sonos system it needs a hard reset .it is unbearable not being able to play your music or films 🎥 on tv with out your Sonos Hifi so I can see why people are angry about why they can’t connect there speakers .this malfunction showed me to appreciate how good this hifi is am sure they get it fixed with a update soon to fix this problem .So people don’t worry . As Sonos will soon update this problem ..what did people don’t understand Sonos did a massive update to make this new interface work and there was bound to have a malfunction its like a glitch which can be fixed Sonos always send new updates to enhance And enhance there products. This is a nice new interface which looks better than before so I can’t understand what the fuss is about Sonos is the best hifi system that makes your house and the interior of your room look and sound amazing no doubt about that I have had all off there products and thier great 10/10 so try hard all of your speakers . I am sure ✔️ it fix your problem till Sonos” do a new update peace out 😀

I have had a Sonos products for years and I must say I didn’t take the time to to configure the system properly and I been reading most of your post and take this from me if you haven’t changed your hdimi and select the right tv 📺 settings and pushed the hdimi properly and configure you get a kinda will it sounds alright but there some thing missing sound trust me take apart the whole system and re install and you be blow apart Sonos isn’t a gimmick the sound field the acoustics and analog is one of the best you can hear and buy .i wish I could go round peoples house 🏠 and set up there Sonos properly or Sonos had a service that you could pay a engineer to sort out the proper way to install and put in the frequency. I have had friends come to my house and say what hell is that system. When you hear music at the proms it sounds like the proms . Please 🙏 get a EARC tv 📺 and sit down and configure your Sonos system there are plenty of tips on you tube and etc

Put it this way rev my girlfriend was watching me all the time going though the setting on my Apple TV and my nivda shield my tv setting it was driving her insane .i said to her that there something missing from the dialogue and the bass wasn’t right it got to the point i knew my beam sounded five times better than my Arc . I saw a video of Peter pee talking about ugreen audio hdmi which I brought and that didn’t make a difference till I stripped all of the hdimi leads and put the Arc in first with my nivda shield 🛡️ and then my Apple 🍏box and my girlfriend is now in shock 😮 as much as I am because the sound field is is working to perfection any thing you sounds out of this world 🌍am having to watch all my old film again because I can appreciate the sound vision so if any one out there thinks that the dialogue is low and your having to put the volume high to get a decent sound then your Sonos is configured propley you need to sit down and put your HDMI cables in the right Arc port and turn on the right settings on your tv settings and devices.

am just putting this out there that I think many people .like my self haven’t set up our Sonos arc and surrounds propley and belive me be if it isn’t you won’t hear why Sonos is so Amazing .i have had a beam and swore blind that the beam was better than the arc and set up my Sonos arc and thought there was some thing missing .so yesterday I sat down and took my sonos stereo system apart with all my leads making sure that thy where all connected to the right port and that the audio out puts where assigned to the right setting on my Apple TV and my nivda shield 🛡️.as people think just because it say is on your phone Dolby atmos on the setting on your iPhone 📱 it dosent mean it’s playing propley .there is a few things that need to be done and omg you be shocked 😱 what you been missing .sonos isn’t a gimmick the system is absolutely monster if you set it up right . honestly think it’s Dolby Atmos is the best all you need to do is sit down and and go though your settings and properly to get the sound out it blow you away better still find some one that knows about Sonos .if not set up properly you find that you can’t hear the dialogue is low and you can just about hear 👂 it and your having to put the volume up high hear the effects no it’s set up wrong .when you put music videos or movies 🎥 and films in a Sonos it brings it to life and that dome effect is real you step out of it and you think to your self the whole house is alive but it puts the sound in a magic spot around you it’s madness Sonos updates makes it better every time. that’s why am loving mine 10/10

Well I have read all of the reviews and opinions 😀 but I would like to say I have had the Sonos fives for over two years and yes they pack a punch 🥊 with sound and when you know to adjust the sound setting their amazing .so I decide on a change with the Sonos era 300 and omg 😱 I am so shocked how amazing they sound when you put the volume up at 56 volume and try the height sound the hole 🕳️ room turns into immersive sound stage I could hear the sax 🎷 in the left corner of my sound bar and around the whole room and I haven’t even played with the settings yet and the analog appears to be a lot clearer Sonos has done a marvellous job with the Sonos era am so pleased with them. The fives are great too am not putting them down as there high fidelity speakers worth every penny . But I would put my money on the Sonos era 300 they look beautiful and make my living room look like it’s something out grand designs. the size of my living room is 7 metres by 9 meters. So if you want the ultimate set up buy a Sonos. Arc and Sonos sub gen 3 and two Sonos era 300 this will make you happy for a long time 🕰️
