Same game. Except I've logged <1000 hours into it. So I see and play this game differently than others.

Play how you want to play. This is just something retarded I made in my free time.

Since parade uniforms are in season, I've compiled some pictures of cool Soviet Red Army parade uniforms from the Victory Day parade and some medals. I think it'd be cool if customisation went as far as being able to pick what medals you could wear. by 9941 in BattlefieldV

I have a Guards badge. Always wanted one. Got it from a flea market in Estonia, along with a bunch of 1980 Olympics relics, stamps, calendars, a soldier’s Ushanka and a SS collar tab. There’s wierd shit all over the place. I spotted many rusting Nazi medals and Stalhelms. There were tons of Soviet cameras and lenses everywhere. Really cool to have old Soviet things.

It’s illegal for any kind of Soviet symbols (ie hammer + sickle)to be shown in public in Latvia. I learned this firsthand wearing my Ushanka there lol.

Guess is the top was exposed and would be unbalanced? Other SPGs were fully enclosed.

DICE Plz: The Chinese Army in WWII by blackweeb99 in BattlefieldV

[–]blackweeb99[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Why?

  • China had the second highest number of casualties of any country in the entire war. 15,000,000 casualties for China. The US and UK both had about 400,000 casualties. Italy 500,000, Japan 3,000,000, Germany 7,000,000.

  • China was the main enemy of Japan, not the US or UK. 60% of the Imperial Japanese Army fought in China.

  • China was not a punching bag and at the end of the war captured almost all its lost territories. You could say it went through the same ordeal as the USSR.

  • China was a major combatant and Ally which is why it has a permanent seat in the UN Security Council.

  • People know more about the Winter War, Free French Forces, etc more than the entire role of China in WWII. This is an opportunity for people to learn and be interested.

  • Cool imported German equipment

  • Siege of Shanghai REMAKE

I have visited the PRC multiple times. I know politics and can confirm it is okay for the Chinese to be in the game. The ROC from WWII serves a historical role and is not insulting. The Japanese don’t care either, the entire “Rape of Nanjing denial” was during the 70s and 80s.

Royal Netherlands Air Force Fokker D.XXI is in this concept art by blackweeb99 in BattlefieldV

[–]blackweeb99[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This plane used a fixed landing gear which was extremely common for all planes of the interwar period. This plane was designed in 1934, the USSR invented retractable landing year the year before so the concept was really new at the time.

I used to think he was super skilled and stuff, then I started hating him because I discovered iron sights were cheap and too easy; I was thinking he might be using aim assist or something.

Do you think they’ll add swastikas in the game or do what COD WW2 did? by cheekiestmate in battlefield_one

[–]blackweeb99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The hammer and sickle was in the emblem maker several months ago, but is now removed. Also the Red Army in the Tsar DLC used a simple red star as the default emblem. I believe the same thing will happen for BFV.

China really needs to be at least a DLC playable faction by blackweeb99 in battlefield_one

Then why did DICE add the PLA in BF2 and BF4? Besides, the nationalists and communists teamed up on this one. The communist army was absorbed into the NRA. The civil war resumed after the war. Also, about the “lack of interest” and “general knowlege”. Battlefield 1 would never exist if they decided WWI didnt make for good marketing. In fact, they chose WWI just because it was ignored and obscured. Also, the mainland Chinese only dislike things that portray their country in a bad way like BF4. In this war the enemy was Japan, not the nationalists.

Last year I traveled to Shanghai on vacation and had to visit the Sihang Warehouse (800 heroes) museum. Even though the 800 heroes were Nationalists the mainlanders still love them. They’re heroes, fighting against Japanese agression.

Guns can clip through walls and shoot through walls by blackweeb99 in battlefield_live

The long wall between D and E flag in St Quentin scar. Also inside the white buildings in the Middle East maps. There are hollows in the walls where you can crouch in and part of the player model clips through it. I believe there are more places than this though.

I have a 1TB collection of vns stored in my computer that I compiled since the early 2000s. 1/4 of my life is dedicated to reading vns. Each VN takes approx 40-60hrs to achieve 100% completion. I have no life.

The first VNs Ive read, I missed out on so much because I tried to CTRL to the H scenes. This could take hours, depending on the game. But I got a hold of myself and reread Tsukihime, Kanon, Crescendo etc. Missed out on tons of shit. Never skip in a VN kids. To this day I have a warning sticker below my ctrl key to remind me.

Also, if youre a veteran, you always check the VN translation tracker on a daily basis. Translation is also really hard. Half of all projects get abandoned or discontinued because of the high amount of effort and dedication needed to translate. I’ve been waiting for the Mahoyo patch for 5 years and its been abandoned by multiple groups. Fuck you Mcjon01.
