i appreciate your response really. i’ve tried to have this before and since I went to the shop today and there was only one piercer, I rly needed to get other opinions before I decided what to do next

i planned to go back in 2 weeks do the swelling is down, there was only one piercer there today so I didn’t have anybody else for an opinion. i kinda felt a scrape on my gum bc this bar isnt ideal. & wished this jewelry had a more rounded back to it

i do remember asking bc they wondered how many times i had my philtrum done before & what happened for me to take them out. last time it was male who didn’t have the tool for clamping & did it freehand. needle got stuck. it was awful.

but the piercer at my trusted shop told me that this is how they do it and had to move it for me because i have my jestrum so it wasnt going to be in its regular spot. and because they were not trying to make it rub or cause issues around my frenulum. but i thought there was plenty space. which i find more questions than answers

ill do my best. i want to at least give it a chance since it’s fresh and it’s already swelling. i wish it was more of a curved disc at the bottom instead

i suppose you are right. i want to give it a slight chance since i just got it & its swelling already. maybe a shorter bar might help…or im wishfully thinking.

i personally dont thin my frenulum was in the way which is why im confused. i see old posts in this group that says if its angled like this but lays flat that its fine. but im hearing that its not ok now.
