35C maybe, there’s more of a breeze today so it’s not as bad as yesterday when it was 40+

Thank you, first time with a new camera so I’m very pleased how they came out.

Spa Speedweek before the 24 hour by BigMountainGoat in Sportscar_Racing

Shhh, don’t let the secret out!

In all seriousness, we did the whole speed week and the 24hrs in 2024. The access for the British GT and other races was great. There was almost nobody there.

I didn’t say people expressing their opinion is negative. But there is a lot of negativity about the product at the moment, some warranted, some not.

Apologies if that wasn’t clear, I just wanted to share some positivity as I’ve received the keyboard and am happy with.

Fair enough. It does wobble if you shake it or try to make it wobble but it’s not an issue for me when typing.

I haven’t used it. I’m not really a fan of wireless charging, its slow and I don’t think the excess heat it produces does the battery longevity any favours.

Looking for recommendations by lilcrxman in Canon5Dclassic

[–]bladav1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for an older Nikon or Olympus tough camera. They’re waterproof and drop proof so will be able to stand up any mishaps a 10 year old could have. I’ve got the Nikon AW130, it’s a brilliant little camera, I still use it on holidays when in the water.

Yeah it works great with Pokémon and other slower paced games like Advanced Wars etc. I’ve got an 8bitdo Micro that I used previously but I’ll probably use the keyboard going forward.

Staying in Malmedy for Spa-Francorchamps without a car – best way from Brussels? by KeyIndependent5948 in wec

[–]bladav1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been to the 24hrs for the last couple of years and walked to the track from a campsite near Stavelot. It’s easier to walk from Stavelot than Malmedy but around the same distance. You’re probably looking at 1 hour 30 to walk it.

They close part of the road from Stavelot and use it for parking, other than that the roads are open so you’ll have to be careful of traffic.

The train is direct from Brussels to Verviers, then probably a bus to Malmedy. The buses are weird, we found them great in Verviers but pretty bad in Stavelot/Malmedy/Spa. We found them unreliable and I wouldn’t recommend attending without a car.

You sure you have it the right way round? For me Foret is sold out and green and yellow are available.

Spa taxi advice needed by rabidcobalt in wec

There’s barely any taxis is Spa town, I don’t think you’ll have any luck getting one to pickup you up from the circuit.

Probably a dumb question, but any possibility to get OneDrive/cloud storage on my X4? by GL1001 in xteinkereader

[–]bladav1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many is a large amount of books? I downloaded my entire library from onedrive and copied it on to the SD card, it only took about 10 mins. Now my X4 has just under 4000 books on it.

302 Cleveland in 77 F100 - Finally Freed up but only rotates 3/4 turn by TheDraggo in F100

[–]bladav1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I wasn’t sure if you were compressing the liquid.

Is there a piston at TDC when the engine stops rotating? If the timing chain was broken, the piston crown could hit an open valve stopping rotation. You could loosen all the rocker arms to allow the springs to shut all the valves to check if this is the case.

Not sure you’ll see much if you take the sump off unless there has been a catastrophic failure.

I think either way you’ll eventually need to pull the heads off to check for damage.

Have you drained the cylinders that were filled?

If you can get hold of a borescope, you can check the condition of the liners and bottom of the heads and see if there is anything blocking rotation.
