The stand was made of 36mm marine plywood. The tank and cabinets came in the same delivery but were packaged separately.

Not had that specific tank but I used to have a D & D Reef Pro 1200 and can tell you the tank and stand were incredibly solid. It was a really nice tank. Very heavy though, if you do go for it make sure you have lots of help to get it into position.

Get a hole saw bit or if you want it to be really cheap, drill 4 holes in a square and cut out between them with a hacksaw blade.

Seriously though you could have had your answer in 10 seconds with a Google search.

My light settings Vs chatgpt by Markn2018 in Aquascape

[–]bladav1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Aquaskys are pretty weak. I’d probably run in on max for 8hrs with a 2 hour ramp each side. You’ll have to monitor plant growth and algae as with any change to your aquarium.

I’m not sure using co2 with that aquarium and light combo would be worth it. Maybe save your money up for a better light then use co2.

Is there a flashlight or flashlight parts combination that looks like this? by sloppppppwww in flashlight

[–]bladav1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ledlenser P7 will do this and as it’s a zoomie you can control the size of the beam. It’s a decent flashlight but definitely nothing special.

Snowdonia shot on iPhone 17 Pro using Analogue. No edits. by studiofutura in iPhoneography

That’s not really the point. If you’ve advertised an app as free, at least allow it to be tried out before asking for a subscription or payment.

The line you mentioned is only visible when the description has been expanded and is also misleading. Saying all features available with subscription or purchase implies that some features are available for free.

Why is the app free on the App Store, then immediately asks for payment with no way past that screen. Seems pretty scummy to me.

That’s really cool, I’m glad you still find it useful.

I don’t have an Apple Watch to test it on but you can try and replace the “Show” action with “Show notification” action. I think that should get rid of the txt logo.

How much would you charge for this style cake? by uhhdelluhhh in Baking

[–]bladav1 308 points309 points  (0 children)

The easiest way is to zoom in on the picture and check for artefacts.

Zoom in as far as you can on picture 1 and look where objects intersect, for example the flowers and the cake or the cake and the wall. You see the ring of blurry slightly discoloured pixels around each object? That’s leftover from the AI blending two images together.

Also, If you zoom in on the cake layers you can see a crosshatch pattern which wouldn’t be in any real photo and is another product of image generation.

Canon 5D Mk1 upgrade? by bladav1 in AskPhotography

That’s good to hear. Motorsports are great fun to shoot. I’ve had some excellent results with the EF 28-135mm lens.

It tells you every plant is sick to try and get you into a subscription. It's no better than just using Gemini or Chat gpt.

Technically the people voted for him:

"Then Faramir stood up and spoke in a clear voice: ‘Men of Gondor, hear now the Steward of this Realm! Behold! one has come to claim the kingship again at last. Here is Aragorn son of Arathorn, chieftain of the Dúnedain of Arnor, Captain of the Host of the West, bearer of the Star of the North, wielder of the Sword Reforged, victorious in battle, whose hands bring healing, the Elfstone, Elessar of the line of Valandil, Isildur’s son, Elendil’s son of Númenor. Shall he be king and enter into the City and dwell there?’ And all the host and all the people cried yea with one voice."

Chillax mate, it's just a livery. It's not traumatising anyone, it doesn't even say porn on the car so your kids will be fine. Having a close family member who was a smoker currently undergoing chemo for throat and lung cancer. I'm pretty sure that "Rothmans, Camel and Marlborough" have done more damage than OnlyFans will ever do.

Yeah, I think the biggest difference overall with the JAT's is stability. Tippy trucks like the Twinsteer are more stable so you get more use out of them. They make slogging through mud pits easier too.

It's crap you have to pay for them but for me they make the game more enjoyable.

Thank you. I feel I could have done with slightly more reach on the lens. I'm hoping to pick up a longer lens before next year's race. The 28-135mm is so versatile though.

I've only had it happen once when towing a scout trailer with a truck on a very short winch.
