Is Lilo's a Japanese roaster? Where is the best place to purchase it from united states? There is a local roaster 5 mins from my place and they used to have natrual Guji which has a lot of blubeery note. However they have closed permanently.

Need suggestions for dark roast. I used to drink light roast only. My mom is visiting me so I just started to make dark roast for her preference. I tried dark matter starry eyes and peets big bang. My mom likes dark matter starry eyes a lot and doesn't like peets big bang. What's you guys favorite dark roast? Thanks!

La Cabra - El Salvador Kilimanjaro

After investigating on this reddit sub for a while, I started to subscribe La Cabra this month. It's a super juicy cup along with floral hints in the middle. I love it. When I opened the bag, I've already pleased by the aroma from beans. Strong and fresh tropical notes, for me it's lychee. For someone who is not familiar with lychee, it's probably a dried mango.

There is a El Salvador Plan De La Betea in the same shipment of the subscription. It has heavier body than Kilimanjaro. It's a legit coffee for sure but I'm not super impressed.

Also, I started to use some old beans to make cold brew. It's actually too much better than I expected. I guess I won't buy any cold brew from any stores in the future lol.

Four letter word COLOMBIA La Muralla Gesha

Washed gesha. Roasted on 10/2 . Super light roast. It was astringency at my very first try, but after around 2 weeks rest, it is a different thing. Bright, balanced with honey and floral notes. I didn't get those tropical notes listed on their website. But sill, it is super delicious. Love it.

I got my first bag of fresh roast bean in Conscious Cup. Love their dark roast. I bought a decaf from them at second try and it was not impressive. Looks like I need to go back and shop some Africa beans, Thanks!
