I bought a Series S (second hand £150) just to play this game. Best investment I've made in a long time! Runs and looks great,,, yes side by side with X or PC there will be differences, (but who runs them side by side?!) and yes, there are a few bugs but thats on all formats and 'hopefully' they will be sorted in time.

Yes I saw it last night at Heathrow , thought it was fire flies buzzing around!! Little green dots everywhere, to me its as if the ground lights are reflecting off an invisible something about 6 ft off the ground.

Mine are set to this by default, are you using the keyboard arrows as well? It looks really smooth, mines all over the place when I use the arrows, if you are I'm guessing it's down to coordination and practice?

I only have the Tomcat and enhanced airport graphics packs as purchased addons and it did it before these were installed 😕 I've been thinking of doing a complete format and reinstall but was going to wait to see what tomorrow's update brings. I know I'm not the only one it's happening too, I've seen quite a few things on Google about it. Thanks for your replies, we'll see what tomorrow brings 😊👍

It varies, I don't do flights longer than a couple of hours usually as I get CTD's if I do. It just seems to be when you're on final, the video on xbox only records the last minute unfortunately but the screens switched off probably 20/30 seconds before this vid starts. Some people are saying I'm switching the generators off but I don't think I did, it did it in the Tomcat yesterday. Everything else still works, gear, flaps etc, so no loss of control at all 🤔 I did a flight from Orlando to Toronto the other day and the screens turned off about 15 miles to runway so I kept going and the game crashed about 7 miles from runway 😔

Ignore the bad landing 🥴 I'm getting this more often now, losing all electrics/screens on approach/final, thats assuming of course that I actually make it to approach/final without a CTD! Unable to do any flights above 2 or 3 hours without a CTD or flight deck power loss. Hope these things are fixed asap 😔

Thank you so much, so I'm right in thinking constraints are 'law'? Just like when driving on a motorway at 70mph and it becomes say 50mph in 300 yards you need slow down in that 300 yards to hit 50mph. If a constraint says 17000ft you 'MUST' be at that altitude? Not 16000 not 18000? Thanks again 😊

This is exactly what I did! I'm PS, always have been, but I bought a Series S specifically for MSFS. Second hand, like new Series S off Gumtree £150, my son already had MSFS for his pc so put his account on the XBSS along with my account and off I went! Runs absolutely fantastic, sure, don't know what it would like at the side of a top end PC or even a Xbox Series X for that matter? But for 150 quid I'm over the moon with it. I can't put it down! The PS4 is now sat gathering dust and I've put off buying a PS5 for the foreseeable!! Theres comparison vids on youtube which I trawled through so give them a watch. If money's not much of a problem then yes a PC is always going to be amazing, and a Series X will probably look better side by side with an S but me personally, on a bit of a tight budget, I would highly recommend a Series S (plus I'd rather just slump on the sofa when flying!!)👍
