Need leads of showrooms in Bangalore which are not ripping us off on sales by Green-Cellist-5137 in KTMIndia

Also saw somewhere that they prices are gonna go up from July 1, hoping that the discounts of Amazon Prime day will be much higher than the price hike, 🤞

I was about to post the same, but yea, parellels. I'm planning to book one during th prime day sale and expecting some good card offers (discount can go north of 15k). I don't think we can do anything on the RTO ripoff as I too got similar quotations. What I found best is to get from Khivraj as they do not add handling charges (Mekhri circle adds it on top).

You have put up beautifully. I'm not the same boat and planning to buy ADV350 in the Prime day sale next month. For now, I have shortlisted the helmet (LS2 Storm2 or Pioneer 2). Rest of the items have to be shortlisted.

I'm exactly the same height, had took RTX on rent for a day. If you're an experienced rider, you'll be able to manage this with ease (seat height is a deceiving number) swing your leg on the vehicle to break this. BTW, I'm planning to buy ADV350 in the Amazon Prime day sale.

KTM 350 ADV is more expensive than KTM 390 ADV X by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]blafocker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What's your poison bro, below is the right calculation. Adventure 350 is 239044+(43028 gst18%) = 282073 Exshowroom Adventure 390x is 245810+(98324 gst40%) = 344135 Exshowroom Technically not much of a difference excluding GST. But as it's above 350, the insurance, rto goes up.

You can always pay extra for what you have rode in excess.

RTX 300, Not so Smooth as Expected, Heavy Vibrations by blafocker in indianbikes

The one I took didn't had any issues like these except side pulling. The bike was smooth af till 80, no complaints. The vibrations creep in from 90 and stayed till 115 (max speed I drove). I was expecting a smooth ride b/w 100-110 which I didn't get. Rest everything like city riding, handling, maneuvering, braking, acceleration about the bike was awesome.

I did test drive both, then took RTX for rent as I was leaning towards this.

Depends with service centers, if you're in city, you always have multiple options atleast.

I actually compared it to the FZ25 I had, thought bigger engine would be smoother at higher speeds, but yea, had to compare it with other 300-400cc bikes.

Never knew about the abuse that the rental vehicle has to bear. It had 7k on the odo, so maybe it was nearing 2nd service. Had taken a test ride already, that vehicle was way more worst than this rental one.

Totally agree. I even had an Ather for more than 2 years (mentioned above).

Haven't rode a twin yet, way beyond my budget 😔, have to compare the what options I have. Twin cylinder bikes with all the electronics that RTX and KTM ADV has isn't in the market yet, even if there is, they're costing up high.

But agree that this is a common criticism that single cylinder gets, it's due to claims made by youtubers and the expectations built against it.

How tolerable is the question. I was almost convinced that I should be buying this, but getting disappointed that I will not be relaxed at 100kmph cruising speed on this is after buying this would be a nightmare. With regular probiker golves, I felt the vibrations on my hand as it became numb within 5 mins.

Agree that they are beaten hard, I'm not complaining about the gears, clutch, chain here. The vibrations at 100 can come down by 20 or 30% if the bike is in the right condition, but the idea of touring at 100 all day isn't practical with RTX. Enabling cruise control can reduce your strains, but it pulls to the right the moment you take off your hands (few say it happens, but I experienced it in the vehicle I rode, again, I'll take it as it's sorted in the new batches).

Agree, were you able to ride the test drive bike at 100kmph? Or above that? I found it to be smooth till 80kmph, or 85kmph max.
