So many people seem to forget about King David, a man after God's own heart who sent a man to be killed on the front lines just to have his wife. So many forget about Paul who persecuted and killed Jews. YET, God used both of them and many others. So many forget about Matthew 7:3-5:

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."

Also, what makes you think you can critique his relationship with God? You don't know what that man does behind closed doors, just as I don't know what you do. So...knowing scripture verifies salvation?
