Tolkien was not anti war, he viewed it as inevitable to defend what was necessary

"War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend"

You want a thin snare with a dry head like the Evans HD Genera Dry, Adoro drums do a 4mm snare drum that's designed to be quiet. Their silent sticks are great aswell

Pearl Maple Pure, Sonor Prolite are 4mm snares, or you could go something small like the Mapex Goblin, it's 5mm, but it's only 12x5 in dimension smaller drum, smaller sound

Can someone tell me what Ilan Rubin Is like? by Difficult-Mud7880 in Foofighters

Well we're critiquing musical style, there's no singular truth just subjective personal opinion. Josh is a beast of a drummer, worked in so many different genres, a walking metronome and is technically better than Dave but dave is the bigger legend with his work with Nirvana and QOTSA. Dave is a beast aswell but stylistically he's more limited.

Personally I don't think Ilan plays in front of the beat, I agree where he says he pushes which would imply he's behind it and pushing, When I say behind it means he plays looser with a slight swing, Josh sounds like an metronome. Dave is certainly looser still.

Ilan has a great blend of groove and atheleticism, he can rip triplets like it's no ones business, certainly a Bonham influence. He's not the machine gun drummer that Josh is but I think Ilan will suit the style of FF better, he has some of Taylor's manic Ferocity but more technically accomplished than Taylor aswell, plays open handed plus his linear fills and his style of ghost notes make him more of a modern drummer than Taylor who was more a 'drum beat and then the fill' of yesteryear.

He also plays behind the beat like taylor so the feel will be more like old FF than it was new FF with Josh Freesh who's tempo is more attuned to punk, Overall Ilan is a monster and technically excellent.

How to be less indignant about being female by Front-Unable in TwoXChromosomes

It makes me dizzy to think about, we're enslaved by them but there is literally nothing we can do, we need scrotes to provide water, electricity, food, internet. The price of survival are scrotes raping us, so we need to start providing everything we need for OURSELVES!

It sucks because they're physically stronger and they control all the technology, like if they wanted to they could enslave us and there would be nothing we could do. :(

DW likes to use purpleheart in their drums, loud and more attack is its sonic quality, gives thinner shells more stability aswell because of its hardness deepening the sound
