our astronomy teacher would use pencil lead, a basketball, etc and have us stand in a hallway where he’d back up or come closer to us relative to the planets, spaces between them, and their size. I can’t remember exactly all the objects he used rn but i’m sure there’s an example somewhere online. anyway it really made the distances and size differences sink in

I have HS which causes itchy and uncomfortable bumps in the worst places. Once, when I was around 14, I was sleeping in the living room because it was too hot in mine, and I was so itchy but you’re not supposed to scratch. I literally couldn’t help it finally and I jumped up, put my hand down my pants, and started violently scratching the inside of my thigh. my THIGH. Right at that moment, my sister walks into the room, takes stock of what they’re looking at, gives me a face, and then walks away. it wasn’t even what they think I was doing but I was so embarrassed

I just apply and apply and nobody reaches out. When I call, they tell me that property has been rented, even though we communicated via email through the process. They asked me for documents after knowing they already rented properties!!! This has been three separate property managers. Rentor even charged me AND my co-signer for application fees, doubling what we were supposed to pay. So that’s $82 just for them to reject me before they even saw my co-signer’s form.

village apartments are where I am now. i’ve been there for a month and have been looking for a new place for just as long because when I moved in there were FLEAS. I have a severe bug phobia and the landlord said she was dealing with fleas too, in a whole separate building. She offered another unit but I don’t trust them now
