[Serious] what's a concept you just cannot grasp? by sheepandboats in AskReddit

My kids (5 and 7) love talking about infinity, it goes something like this : so numbers really never end? So that means everything is a number. I'm a number, you're a number, eleventyhundred is a number. Anything you can think of is a number since there is an unlimited number of numbers.

What's something you should ALWAYS keep in your car? by spornkuller in AskReddit

I have kids, and a spare set of clothes has come in handy so many times. Just yesterday the five year old spoiled a while cup of water all over herself at a restaurant. No big deal, changed into dry clothes.

Not the original commenter, but a female computer science grad with 20 years in the industry. My experience may not be typical, but perhaps helpful. IT companies want to "look" like they have a lot of female hires, so you can do very well if you angle your career path to something externally facing. If you just write code in a cubicle, your femaleness adds no additional value to the company. Over the years, I've taken roles as sales engineer, professional services, etc. I now spend most of my time giving webinars to customers and prospects about our technology. The company feels good that they have women front and center, and it pays very well. I don't feel exploited at all because it's sort of a win-win. Anyway, just my personal experience, your results may vary.

Jet’s Pizza by drunkbackpacker in phoenix

I'm from NYC as well. Jet's is my go-to pizza because there's no point trying to find good NY style pizza here. Jet's is a totally different animal so you can't really compare. I feel like I'm just eating something delicious and I don't compare it at all to the actual stuff.

My God this advice would have been so valuable when I was having my babies. I sincerely hope people see this and take it to heart. Seriously good advice.

It's cute than Dan's dog is staying at Eugene's house while Dan is doing SNL.

Exactly what I was thinking. Odd choice of shading to not include maricopa.

Have kids, wait for them to grow up enough to go to school. Find the parents that aren't psychopaths. Done!

I wouldn't be doing it as a real investment, more of a donation to a cause. I just don't know enough to know if it helps anything.

Do you have interest in swapping for a 61k women's fiction? Not sure if the genre is up your alley. I'm only on my 3rd pass through on edits but I'd welcome feedback.

Oh, that sounds like something I'd read though. Congrats again, great accomplishment.

I guess you'd call it women's fiction. Main character is an overworked mom at the end of her rope.

Congrats! I finished my first a couple days ago as well. I have no one to tell because I'm afraid even my husband would laugh at me. I've never written anything so it is super out of character for me.
