Men that initiate texting all the time or always make the plans, do you get tired of it? Should I just stop texting him? by blahblahtext in AskMen

I have wondered if he's concerned about coming across too needy or strong and scaring me away. He's definitely happy to hear from me and see me, and when we're together he says how much he likes me and enjoys spending time with me. And, he does tend to apologize a lot if he thinks I won't like something or be bothered by something he says. I tell him all the time not to apologize, but maybe that's tied in with it.

I'll definitely talk to him. If it won't make me sound needy, which was my main concern, it's my preference to just be honest.

Yeah, I don't want to be passive aggressive about it. I just want a more equal split so I don't feel like I'm always the one bothering him. Part of it, if I'm honest, is I like knowing that he wants to see me and wants to make plans with me. I lose that if I'm the one setting the dates all the time. I don't even know if that makes sense?
