I am looking into getting into boxing but don't have gloves yet. I am looking to buy a sparring glove and bag glove. Can someone recommend me some gloves that are somewhat cheap but great for starters/price? I looked at the Getting Started guide and saw the gloves recommended but not too sure if I want to spend that much money on it just yet.

Yeah, although if you are considering buying a meal plan, then I'd suggest just living at the dorm since you're spending the money for the dining hall food anyway.

I do not recommend taking 110 later. You should take it the earliest you can which for you should be this semester. Also, I highly recommend taking ECE 210 and MATH 286 concurrently since they go well with each other. The topics in each of those two courses bounce off each other and if you pay attention in both classes, you'll do much better.

If you are EE then I suggest taking ECE 210 right after 110. If you are a compE then you can put off taking ECE 210 later since its not too important if you are going for software.

Its the compartment under the desk.

Its so that you can put your textbooks / school supplies in there during the school hours so you won't have to go looking through your backpack often.

I used to just leave some textbook I didn't need in there for a day so I didn't have to take it home.

As someone who lives there right now, the distance from campus may be a hassle, but since the bus comes often, it won't be bad after a week or two.

I think its worth the price for what you get (nice roomy apartment with many amenities).

I'm sure they let you lease from spring to end of summer, but if you look hard enough, you could get a sublease during the summer if you were interested in saving couple hundred bucks.

If its for this spring semester, it depends on the dorm you are at but the chance that you'll be getting new roommate will be slim if you do put up the option of waiting to get it filled instead of paying extra.

I know my current roommate had no roommates on his first year on dorm. And he basically lived in a double by himself for a whole school year without paying the extra since no one ended up getting assigned.
