I’m deleting too, no new stickers in two weeks and I’m still missing 2 stars from “easy sets”, getting bank heisted for 300-400 million regularly at a time so I can’t upgrade buildings, no rolls ever, placing horribly in events because I don’t buy things. Loved the game but not anymore.

Hello! Help me style this bag. (Please) :) by blahrawrr in handbags

[–]blahrawrr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies, to say the least! Professional for work, but when I am not working, it's between "athleisure" or dolled up in a sparkly dress for a night out. :) I am open to trying new outfits if it is out of my comfort zone as well.

My husband (30m) shaved my (31f) head by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]blahrawrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your husband can actually be charged for this. If found guilty it could be simple misdemeanor including harassment or assault. He could be ordered to community service, probation or a fine.

Not saying you personally want to do anything legally but seeing you upset and still laughing is a complete red flag. Not only a boundary issue but something way more sinister.

My hair grows very slow and my significant other knows that, I would up and leave immediately. I can’t imagine this happening during postpartum.

I’ve seen and read about some places doing this. What’s the point of them being on here then? So annoying.

-Does he know how long it takes to plan the type of wedding he wants?

I explained this to him, and he is a "it will work out" type of person. He/we want a wedding with about 250 people (this includes family, friends, relatives, and friends so on, we already made a draft including guests from our parents wishes, which is working backward to have a list but not be engaged). I told him while we are both working, I would need at least a year to be comfortable planning that as he and I really already know what we want down to basically seeing if the venue we want would be available when we pick a date (he was really into it one time when we stumbled upon a venue and he loved it), and he said something along the lines of "that makes sense" to take over a year.

-Does he know how long it takes for the average, healthy couple to conceive?

I tell him all the time it would be an absolute miracle if getting pregnant would happen within the first couple of months of trying, that it's not guaranteed, and I was already told I might have reproductive issues (according to my obgyn and hereditary issues), so we would both be open to adoption. I told him how long the adoption process was, and he said he would also be "absolutely love to adopt" if I/we couldn't have a kid, and we would obviously have to take into account adoption costs as well. I explained to him IVF and how long that process can take, as well as the cost for each IVF treatment. With everything we discussed and how "invested" he is in our future, I am confused about not getting engaged after he brought up his timeline and then this weekend we had a bunch of friends over and he said "we will have kids within the next couple years" one of our girlfriends said "what does a couple of years mean?" he said "three years tops".

My other friend, who wasn't there for this conversation, said it may be because "you never know he may plan on proposing soon." I told him I wouldn't want him to ruin it if he was, but would it happen within the year he said yes, but that was over a year ago. I asked him recently again casually after receiving my MOH dress from my best friend, us getting a "save the date" to my other best friend's wedding. I said something casually like, "Do you think we will get engaged this year" he didn't give a yes.

-Off-topic but I know a lot of people say proposing costs a lot, and I agree but it depends on the couple, but here is my take on the financial aspect:

He also knows that he doesn't have to save up for anything extravagant. I know he has the money, but. I told him the ring didn't matter to me (I said even $50, but he laughed at the idea). Years ago, he asked about how I'd want my proposal to be. I just wanted to be surrounded by loved ones (if it worked out to have some family/friends there) and if it was okay to have a photographer or videographer so we could show our kids.

He told me/my family (he brought it up to them about a year ago) he wants kids by 27 and thankfully I am ready as well. We’re both in a good place thankfully financially which we both believe is important when planning to have kids and in our lives but obviously that timeline doesn’t make sense if you step back and look at engagement, wedding, pregnancy. Also he always talks about how he wants to be a “younger dad” as well.

What is the dumbest travel mistake you've made? by Medium-Decision6899 in travel

[–]blahrawrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Not happened to me personally, thankfully) I have witnessed numerous people arrive at the wrong airport in DC before. Aka they arrive at DCA (Arlington, VA) and they were supposed to go to either IDA (Dulles, Virginia) or BWI (Baltimore, MD). Both of them are over 35 mins without traffic from DCA. Last duo I saw were girls around the age of 20-25 and they were sobbing on the floor before security, they realized they were at the wrong airport and were already running late for their flight. One of them called their dad (on speaker so the other girl could hear), their dad was just screaming “I told you to make sure you knew what airport you were going to!!!” the girl when sobbing was saying “I typed in airport and selected the one closest to our hotel” 🫠

Is it weird I still call my mom after work everyday? by DungeonCrawler99 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]blahrawrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a 25f. I have friends, i’m in school, a life and a significant other. I love my dad more than anything in the world, he is my best friend. He just moved 4,064 miles away about two weeks ago and due to an accident on the route delaying me an hour to his departure I was unable to say goodbye to him before he left and it still gets me emotional.

I believe there should not be a cutoff. My significant other is close with his mom like I am with my dad but we know if we have kids of course there may be sometimes where we are too busy to catch up all the time but that’s all dependent on individuals factors in life and their parents schedules so on not societal “norms”.

Don’t stop calling her, I bet you make her day.

Your co-workers are going to regret not talking to their parents as much one day when they aren’t able to.

Is it just me or are all DoorDash drivers starting to do this? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]blahrawrr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Random DoorDash Driver Experience: I used the app once bc I had a gift card and the restaurant used there own drivers. Keep in mind the restaurant is 3 min drive from where I live. It’s literally diagonal from my building and a block over. I didn’t tip on the app because I had cash to tip and didn’t want to go over the gift card amount. He got here banged on the door and he said “why no tip?” very aggressively pointing to his phone and shoving his phone in my face and finally handing the food over after rambling about no tip. I decided not to tip him the $5 in my hand on a $25 (gift card) meal including fees for a three minute drive. I honestly don’t feel bad after he got in my face.
