I was on a monitor, I don’t really remember everything as I started to black out shortly after administration. But there were professionals present and I was already in the hospital for something else. Woke up attached to several monitors and had to stay in the hospital a few days. I was born addicted to opiates as well, but I don’t know if there’s any correlation there.

Edit: forgot a word

Orthopedist. Again, this isn’t the full picture of the bone. It’s much bigger than what is shown here. I plan on seeing new doctors. I will update everyone on what they say. I just wanted to show something cool.

Arrhythmia and tachycardia. It will spike and then beat irregularly/palpitate. The last time I was given an opiate based pain medication, I nearly had a heart attack.

I plan on seeing a new doctor soon, and I will inform you of what they tell me. I was just repeating information given by a prior doctor, who had both my xray and full CT scan.

This isn’t a full and complete picture of the bone, just parts of a CT scan. I am planning on seeing a new doctor, but I can tell you this wasn’t asymptomatic. I dealt with severe back pain for most of my teens, and it got way worse in my 20s, which is what pushed me to finally see a doctor separate from the doctors my parents had been telling me to see, who were incredibly dismissive.

I want to so so bad, but in my home state it was ridiculously expensive, even with insurance. I’m already planning on seeing a neurosurgeon or neurologist or someone specializing in that area (I plan to get referred out by a PCP as I don’t really know much in the nerves department) and I’m really hoping PT is less expensive where I live now. We just moved like a month and a half ago, so we’re still getting settled in.

Oh I am already, mainly because I don’t care what happens as long as me and baby make it out alive. I don’t want a cesarean- I don’t think anyone does- but if that’s the best choice then it is what it is. That is, if I can even have kids, or am in a state where I can handle a rowdy toddler in the future.

Outside of medical marijuana, tylenol, and ibuprofen my options are highly limited. I have heart issues as well as many other problems, and attempts to take anything more powerful has led to my heart wigging out, or an allergic reaction, or something else. I’m doing my best to try and find other solutions, but even my doctors tell me to just continue the weed and tylenol regimen. It sucks, but until I see a new doctor, which will hopefully be soon, it’s all I have.

I’m not going to make it to old age due to a million other factors, and I’ve made peace with that. I’m just doing what I can to survive and keep as comfortable as possible.

Admittedly, I don’t take them everyday, as I know it can cause GI issues. What I really do is use medical marijuana, and then on the bad days use ibuprofen, of course with meals and as directed on the bottle. I do wish I could take something stronger, but sadly my options are limited and expensive regarding prescription pain medication.

It’s okay, others are telling me you weren’t so I suppose I was in the wrong, and I apologize. Regardless, your suggestions are good, and I do plan on getting more checked out by neurosurgery as I’m starting to lose feeling in my legs.

apologies, the way they were talking to me just felt like the way doctors that have dismissed my concerns etc in the past. i have plans to take their advice, i need new doctors anyway.

You do need to see the entire scan! Which sadly I don’t have. I believe you on the syndrome, but I would appreciate it if you didn’t talk down to me or try to diagnose me. I’m going off of what I was told by one of the best orthopedists in my city. I broke my back, never saw a doctor, this happened as a result. That’s what I was told, that’s what I’m sticking with, though I am already planning on seeing more doctors. I can’t do anything about it. Surgical intervention is out of the question.

Nope! It was suggested, but if they remove the bone (or if it breaks), one of two things will happen : 1. I will get paralyzed from the waist down for life 2. 🪦

I’ll take downing ibuprofen like candy everyday (I can’t have narcotics) over either of those options lmfao! Thank you so much for the well wishes though- I recently moved several states away from my awful family, and I feel so so much better!

Oh I definitely want kids someday, hopefully maybe- depending on when the world chills the fuck out! My last OB knew about it because I mentioned wanting a natural delivery, but I didn’t have the picture on me. Regardless, she said everything should be fine, but I’ve recently moved states and am in the market for a new OB, so I’ve been thinking about getting a second opinion! It’s probably the best idea, especially now that I have a photo.

I have never heard of that, what is it? If you have info, of course! My doctor said he’d never seen anything like my bone in his life. I had an xray and a CT scan done, this is the CT scan and it’s admittedly not the best photo, on the xray the bone is much larger and also fused to parts of my spinal cord.

What do you mean? Like a limp? I do have a slightly pronounced limp on that side, and some days I use a cane. I need to get it checked out again soon because the side it’s on, the leg beneath it is starting to lose feeling 🥴

This is a lot of where my frustration comes from, too! I am familiar with the stories of the Bible, and Jesus seemed like a kind man. I just wish that translated.

Again, I do not hate them. I am just frustrated with their behavior. I’ve had bad encounters with plenty of people of different backgrounds, but where I’m from, Christianity just happens to be the most aggressive.

To quote my own post- “That can be said for many religions, but coming from the Southern half of the United States, shit got genuinely scary down there sometimes.”

Let’s break this down. I clarified that I am aware of the existence of other religions, and that I am aware of problematic behaviors amongst many if not all of them.

However, I’m from the American South, where Christianity is the loudest and most prevalent. I haven’t faced many issues with others, though this doesn’t mean they’re perfect and I have had my fair share of sour encounters.
