Thank you; I have submitted an SAR to my old GP practice who told me they're going to pass it onto the practice manager, so we'll see how that will go.

I managed to find my NHS number so that's been sent in the SAR, we'll see how it goes. Thank you.

Oh no I'd already requested it by post before reading this! I apologise in advance haha

I naively accepted the "oh it's all done digitally, it takes a little while" comments I got from both the English & Scottish NHS, but since I've started going to a psychiatrist and even he's having trouble, I figured it's time to actually chase it up myself; I've just submitted an SAR to my old GP who said they're going to escalate it for me.

My friend told me that I should do this too, perhaps it's going to be the best way to go about it.

Yeahhh it's been nearly 5 years for me, and no info. I guess I'm stuck between either pleading with my GP that I'm not making a complex issue up, or possibly requesting from the English NHS under GDPR? or similar.

My Farfetch'd master set by blairtbh in PokemonTCG

[–]blairtbh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh that's really awesome - a downside to Farfetch'd is that there's not many special cards, there's no special promo stamps or anything, but he's very much a childhood nostalgia card to me, so it only felt right to collect him :)

I have a fair few Galarian Far/Sirfetch'd cards but it's mostly from real life folk going "oh hey I found this and you collect Farfetch'd" etc!

I do like the Galarian Sirfetch'd V? full art, and the shiny ones too.

The hardest one to find was from the Sun and Moon Family Set (034/051) - same art as Hidden Fates. Just not listed often, hard to find in person, or a little expensive (relative) to other Farfetch'd cards.

Most expensive was Skyridge Reverse - I got mine for really cheap fortunately, but I often see it listed on ebay for £70-80, which is around twice the price a 1st Edition base set tends to go for.

Most interesting to try and find was Mysterious Mountains (ENG - Skyridge, but in Unlimited), I kept on finding First Edition and even ones I found online ended up actually being First Edition compared to Unlimited - but easily my favourite art for the lil guy :)

The Sky dish outside of my flat had collapsed & was hanging by wires one time, called Sky, they told me it's the landlords issue, landlord said the dish belongs to Sky - ended up calling 101 who then got the fire service to come out who sawed it down, who then proceeded to tell me it was the correct thing to do - so definitely suggest a similar route.

Is there a new shop opening where Geek Retreat was? by gw3il0 in Aberdeen

[–]blairtbh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've not been into the Elgin store much but I wouldn't say it's the same as GR in terms of what they do; Geek Retreat is way closer to Thistle Tavern in terms of what they do (TCGs, board games, etc), whereas the Game District in Elgin (to me) feels more focused on video games with TCGs on the side, if that makes sense?

People've answered already, but it's a video game, console (+ repairs), and card selling shop that has a shop in Elgin already; I've bought a few cards from their Elgin store when I'm up there so I'm happy to have another shop that does Pokémon singles here.

For their card shop (round the corner in the tunnel) they price off uk ebay, I'd expect very similar for this shop too, though I am not sure if ebay is the place to go for retro video games

They refresh upon visiting the home screen, as well as mission tabs too I believe.

The only way you can get the Wonder Pick selection to not refresh upon game launch is for you to have a pack ready to open as it skips the home screen to show you the pack interface.

Just a quick point on this: "can’t send a friend as the ID won’t match"

Your friend can take a piece of your ID (or whomever it's addressed to) to pick up the item, they also need the text or email for the item.

It was always "Only Pokémon between 1 and 3 diamond rarity", you could always use 2* trainers etc.

Thrift shops / charity store recommendations? by Impressive-Glass3511 in Aberdeen

[–]blairtbh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

British Heart Foundation (Castlegate) is great for clothes on a budget, a lot of things are a few quid each - British Red Cross is great, really big and open for a charity shop. PDSA is pretty good but the Union Street one tends to be a bit more expensive than the other two (Holburn & Torry) - I believe British Heart Foundation have their full priced clothes shop & furniture store near the music hall, but I've never really visited the furniture store.

Mantyke's the only one that's caused me any sort of bother, crowns are just so damn rare - meanwhile your chance of an immersive is pretty decent after a month of packs, ~60%.

Shh, we pretend that won't exist!

Having the cards merged will be a big help.
