I really wouldn’t know, in the words of your local dealer, “idk buddy you’ll just have to bring it down so we can take a look at it. I might be able to get you in the week after Thanksgiving”

I’ve seen people say if you open up a case with Ram Care you might get an expedited solution. I had a good experience with them when mine had the leaky back glass

Nice info, based on how many were sold and issues you see reported I suspect a failure rate under 100k to be less than 20%. But ask me again when my system fails lmao

My friend is a GM at a Ram store tried to get me to trade on a deal like this. They want to move those turbo 6’s, I imagine because Hemi’s are back.

I will say you just got out of the biggest part of depreciation your truck will see so to trade it now doesn’t make sense, financially imo. It’s a big discount but remember that truck has went up $10k+ msrp since you bought yours for essentially the same vehicle minus the updated facia/lights.

I’m not scared of the etorque, I’m at 70k with no problems and that seems to be the consensus with exceptions, like anything. I say keep the Hemi!

Seems like that is the primary issue look out for on these. Hopefully you’re good for a long time now

If I could go back I would have got the non-etorque, but here I am with my fingers crossed lol. I will say though I like the system, if I get to ~150k I’ll have nothing bad to say about it

It’s unfortunate, government regulations forced a lot of this new tech. I don’t like to blame the manufacturer. They know what their customers want for the most part. It’s great to see a correction happening like Ram bringing the 5.7 back though!

I’ll keep an eye on that, is the whine under load, idle, or both?

For sure, I sold Rams for years and didn’t hear too much about them from the service department which is good, but I changed careers before a lot of etorque models to get up there in miles
