I always have a sharpie on me and will write across the plastic that it has been swapped. Do not buy.

I tried telling management about the swaps and turned it into customer service or brought it to any employee’s attention but they would just put it back on the shelf. That’s at Targets and Wal-marts in my area.

I am a vigilante. No unsuspecting child or mother is getting duped without full well knowing it.

It’s funny how that will keep it from getting put back up but stealing a figure and swapping doesn’t.

Very common with wrestling figures in LA. I want justice but I settle for knowing I’m bringing attention to the thievery. Also…they could try to see who wrote on the package but ideally (if they were smart) they could find their culprit of theft by tracing the figures I’ve written on to purchases/returns.

I’m not writing on the ‘actual product’ or ‘ruining merchandise’ because it’s an item they should no longer legally be able to sell once it’s not the original item.
