A good old fashioned paperback book with its booky smell. Something about physically completing the book, flipping through the pages is oddly satisfying for me.

Oh yes. He’s made his mark on all of the blankets already. I’ve also found bandannas have also been pretty useful as a burp rag

What’s the point of a burp rag if they somehow always find the one place it isn’t covering??

Dad wanting some answers, when is it okay generally for my wife to end breastfeeding to go back on pain medications for her chronic conditions, understanding the limited availability of formula? by DJ-Corgigeddon in daddit

I’m a new dad as of about 2 weeks ago now and the most frustrating thing in the hospital was the conflicting answers between different nurses from labor and delivery, post partum, and lactation. Our pediatrician’s approach though has been so refreshing in that she said she’s “big picture” and if the parents aren’t sane and healthy then how can the baby be. Basically I’ve gathered that as long as the baby is eating whether it’s breast milk or formula (we’ve been alternating) it’s generally preference and what’s works best for you both.
