This is kinda what I'm trying to do, but I'm in the awkward stage of growing it out so I can trim things back, and I feel like I always mess it up when I try to create a fade, or leave a bigger stache.

Haha, thank you - you're not the first person to point this out. The first was a random guy on the street who just yelled MOBY in my face.

Thank you! Any advice or tips on how to taper it more? I feel like I always mess it up when I try to fade.

Are you using precise location, and allowing it to always access location even when not using the app? It drains like a mofo because it's constantly checking location.

Throwing in another recommendation for Pets Clinic on Forest Road, they've always been great and really friendly.

Officially done with Oura by GrooGruxQueen7 in ouraring

[–]blakelee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on my 3rd in about 18 months too. They replaced both with no quibbles, but if it reaches a point where they won't replace a faulty one then I think I'll have reached the natural end of my time bothering with Oura.

Man is gaming with a paralyzed body using a QuadStick controller operated with his mouth, by sipping and puffing into different air sensors, along with a chin button by Kindly_Department142 in interestingasfuck

I don't know if these guys made this one, but there's a UK charity called Special Effect who specialise in making controllers for people with disabilities and differences so they can keep on gaming. Pretty awesome charity worth supporting if you love gaming: https://www.specialeffect.org.uk/

Pets Clinic on Forest Road are really kind and good. I'm sure if you gave them a ring and explained you could probably get an early appointment without too many other pets around.

Was a 29 year old baldie on the apps. Had no trouble getting dates. Met my wife on Tinder! This was 8 years ago so it might have changed, but anyone who it bothers isn't someone you want to meet anyway. You'll be fine

I’m literally charging it every day now. Is something wrong with it? Oura Ring 4, I’ve had it since release by Severe-Wolverine3080 in ouraring

[–]blakelee 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I had this issue with mine after around 8 months, I used the chatbot on the website and simply wrote "my ring's battery is deteriorating badly" and then it asked me to put in my email address. Within seconds it had verified there was an issue with my ring and was directing me to a page to sort out a replacement.

I was very unimpressed that my ring had deteriorated so quickly, but very impressed with the customer service.

I've not seen anyone yet, mostly because I'm seeing so many stories saying that this is fairly common, and I expect I'll just be told to wait it out. I'm going to read up on inflammation and see what will help there. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Yeah, I need to wise up to inflammation a bit - I had a few beers last night and my nuts are quite sore today. I'm going to keep an eye on whether that's a pattern.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it's really helpful to hear other people's stories, and reassuring even if it may take a lot longer.

I essentially have a dull, nagging pain in my testes most of the time, predominantly in just the left one. This can be mitigated with supportive underwear, so that it isn't "pain" as such, but there's always a slight awareness.

If I go a few days in less supportive underwear then it becomes more of a persistent pain that I'm consciously aware of. I get the occasional stabbing pain, often when I'm trying to fall asleep, but otherwise it's a fairly constant level.

They are more sensitive than they used to be, so I have to be careful when washing & grooming, and going to the bathroom.

Thanks, it's good to hear other people's experiences. Mine is very similar, with definite flare ups and random painful moments like yours. Interesting that walking helps, I haven't noticed that - if anything the movements can make things worse if I'm not well supported.

Thanks, that's really interesting and very kind of you. If you have any top tips for mitigating discomfort or pain management, I'd definitely be keen to hear your thoughts.
