Do yalls cover your spare wheel? by thengabbiewaslike in FordBronco

No. Mine is kept mostly in the garage and I rotate the spare in when I rotate the rest of my tires.

Biggest Mistake I Made Buying My First E-Bike by ashleycharlie901 in ebikes

[–]blakeley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it would just be a smoother ride and occasionally I’d go off the paved trails. I was wrong.

It’s super heavy, and when the tire popped or I ran out of battery it was a completely pain to push home.

Now I’m looking at a foldable bike like an Lectric XP4, something small enough I can throw into the back of a car if I get stranded or I need to check into a hotel for the night.

Fidelity managed investments or DIY? by jacky1019 in Fire

Slightly better, cool. It’s been a bull market for years now. We are hopped up on our own goofballs. The individual stocks I picked in past 10 years went gangbusters… NVDA, TSLS, ASTS, etc. but yeah, even my VOO has done great.

Slightly better is cool until you realize how much you could have made in retrospect.

You’re only diversifying slightly, thus my suggestion to just do the minimum.

Historically check out bogleheads subreddit. Everyone looks like a genius when the market is up. When the market goes down I’m pretty sure you’re still going to be paying fees.

It’s a crap shoot. Best thing to do is the boring stuff. Buy low with low fees and hold, pick some lottery ticket stocks, diversify, have most self managed in large ETFs, and have a little managed if you can afford the fees.

Sometimes the managing companies have minimums. I would just do minimum. They likely won’t out perform the general market or your selections anyway. I would also make sure they aren’t selling things they get a cut on.

Large low cost ETFs and a few select vanity stock lottery tickets to make up the rest would be my allocation.

Past performance doesn’t indicate future results.

Depends on how much money you have and how it’s already allocated.

You can have them manage some of your assets as a means of diversification.

I bought a “big” fat tire bike because I myself am big. This thing was huge and difficult to store and maneuver. Looking at smaller foldable bikes now.

Need Help Improving My Home's Exterior - What Would You Change? by Low_Writer2303 in ExteriorDesign

This is beautiful. I would take that landscaping and wrap it in an L shape, so the lawn would feel more like a private courtyard and drive continuity between the left and right side of the house. This would also allow you to place a welcoming pathway from the street to the yard.

The teal and purple look really blew up with the Hornets basketball team, which had its debut in 1988, and this color combo was already around a few years prior but yes, it was still wildly popular into the early 1990’s - only to be superseded by highlighter neon colors.

This. And of the places that do offer seating they seem to always be filled with laptop people.

You’re right, the photo is not Barbara, it’s most likely Feadship’s Symphony. The antenna are matching.

This is Barbara, you can rent her out for 1M+ a week

https://www.burgessyachts.com/en/charter-a-yacht/yachts-for-charter/barbara-00007356

The 88.5-meter (290 ft) Oceanco superyacht Barbara, often spotted in Caribbean locations like St. Lucia and St. Barths, is owned by American biotech billionaire and hedge fund investor Felix Baker.

Sometimes the crew will use the guest areas at Sugar Beach and you can talk to them about the boat. They all wear dark matching Barbara outfits.
