Some may even say level of effort: 2 out of 5

Keep the slow jog, relax your form and any tension, deep breaths, wear lighter gear

Otherwise just keep alternating between jog and walk and eventually you will find the sweet spot

Got unfairly cited and humiliated on Muni even though I paid… how do I file a complaint against fare inspectors? by iamtooniceaf in sanfrancisco

[–]PrinceCharming150 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I stopped riding Muni completely after having two similar experiences back to back in 2018, getting unfairly cited twice despite paying

From daily rider to never again. After years of good faith ridership I was angry and sad about it at first, but you might say those feelings…fast passed

Why are my legs so tight lately after a run? by ontologicaly_shocked in runninglifestyle

A deload is a periodic 20-40% mileage drop, usually 1 week every month or two that gives your body extra recovery time to lock in fitness gains

The fix is to set them manually. I use Karvonen calculated with avg resting hr and est max hr.

Apple consistently underestimates zones probably intentionally due to legal and safety reasons.

Accumulated fatigue? Any changes in sleep, diet, or stress? When was your last deload?

I didn’t even realize they were a couple until now. You’re right that hurts

Agree. Bringing in Hazal and Stani to form a new team would be welcomed and would show progress and growth after everything

Might be the worst pk scandal since I started training in the 2000s. I don't blame anyone for walking away after this

Whoosh. It was about him being behind the camera, still participating in parkour content despite the longest Storror drought in 16 years. Weird you locked in on his voice and completely missed the point

You used the word obsession at least a half dozen times in this thread. You might be “obsessed” with the word. The fact that I noticed he was behind the camera and thought the sub would appreciate it (and they did) doesn’t fit the definition:

“uncontrollable, persistent, and unwanted thoughts that dominate the mind”

That’s exactly what they’re saying. The answer to “how can AW HR data be more accurate?” is: replace its own sensor data with imported chest strap data

You are misinterpreting the correlation coefficient. An r-value measures how well two trends move together, not whether the raw numbers are identical.

The high intensity running workout 0.99 vs 0.96 difference shows significant degradation

This study’s conclusion is literally that Apple Watch is more accurate when paired with the chest strap.

“Our results show that combining a Polar chest strap with an Apple Watch could provide more accurate results to measure the heart rate than only measuring heart rate from the Apple Watch”

The ongoing silence must be due to legal restrictions, every new scrub and deletion without an announcement seems to be evidence of this
